Cross Save Locked!
I recently just made a swap over to PC from xbox and purchased all expansions and season passes on steam and when i got on to play i realized that my characters were already linked to an old steam account of mine that has long since been deleted years ago, ive tried to do everything to deactivate cross save but i just cant verify the steam account to do so because it no longer exists… am i screwed? ive been playing since D1 and losing my characters would prob push me to quit lol, what options do i have? is there any other ways to link my characters to my new steam account?

In order to unlink an account, you first have to disable cross save and/or unlink accounts, you must be able to authenticate the accounts. Bungie cannot forcibly de-link them. I would suggest contacting the platform concerning gaining access to the platform account. If you are unable to gain access to the account, then you will not be able to deactivate cross save or unlink it from your current Bungie.net profile.
