Stasis Hunter is one of the best kits you can run for Onslaught.
Just so you know that person has no idea what they're talking about.
To add:
The best team composition for onslaught is, PP Lock, Orpheus Deadfall, Stareater's Revenant.
Tether, Well, S&S... Tether, Well, S&S... that's the loop.

He kept saying “that ice is just not good, especially on Hunter” I was on Arc spamming blinding effects. That’s hunter’s Slow/ freezing with my blinding was chill.

But you were farming chill 10 sets... that means you don't need to be 100% optimal... sounds like you had a great strat. And for what? To save 30-90secs per 10 set? Some people suck, Guardian... I'm a Revenant, they don't know what they're talking about. My kit is the second best Stasis kit in the game, inspect my Hunter. And I could be on Nancy, but I'm not... it IS technically better... but I'm preferring Stareater's Revenant. I haven’t tried the GL, I love Cold comfort too much. That envious/ bait and switch roll is too good for me🤣 I LOVE revenant hunter as well.

Edited by jhermannITJ: 4/21/2024 5:24:25 PMThere's a little bit of skill gap with the heavy GL, it can still kill you... for bosses that are grounded it does surprisingly well. The cold comfort is demo collective action... and I never lose the dmg buff, a nade every 3 to 4 kills... and you can regen a full nade in a single shot, there is a 3 second cooldown between procs though. Sunshot I basically only use to proc radiant. I think midtown is the best map. Every mob spawn travels through a choke point. Duskfields in the choke points, the enemies get mobbed up and nuked easily with my wave frames... shards feed my surges and my super with Font of Wisdom... Triple heavy handed, Dual Siphon... I get my super quick... solo it averages 2 mins. So essentially, unlimited nades... unlimited melees, 0 sec to 2min supers (you can get in an instant chain loop w team supers; like the old days). My only weakness is Walkers... when they hover, I can't do much with the wave frames. I have chain reaction and field prep on the heavy GL w major spec. I use the nanotracer artifact mod that buffs the dps and add clear even more. I use the artifact mod to feed me charges with multi-kills from my wave frames. The kit is extremely min-maxed, but it's absolutely devasting in its uptime and efficacy... especially Onslaught on Midtown. Add an Orpheus and Lock... the best.
