All these fire posts seem to have ‘sparked’ a small resurgence of activity. Anyway, state testing is awful, doesn’t really measure intelligence but just how well someone can answer questions. Also, starting with my graduating class, they’ve removed Valedictorian and Salutatorian from existence which, coming from a nerd, is really stupid. That’s the one time nerds and smart people can be recognized but nope. Guess not. This is not the way to be inclusive, the whole point is to focus on one or two people, not the top ten percent. Thoughts?
