@Bungie A compromise that still honors the rarity of Shinys....
I just maxed out my rank.
And after many hours grinding I do think the loot needs to be adjusted a tiny bit.
5 Tokens/Trophies per chest up from 2
2 for the rng bounty proc
3 for the enemy kill procs (like Tormentors).
1 guaranteed Shiny IF you kill at least 7 Tormentors during the bonus rnd.

Wednesday I had 4 total, ever since just 0 Zero drops in four days, you’re not gonna tell me thats RNG Thats straight up bullshit. I get 4 in 3 normal runs and then nothing for 4 days. Full legend done, legend farmed, normal farmed Nothing. Garbage game. And no, none of the year 1 players care for the regular versions of these mid weapons A shiny should be guaranteed for 250 tokens Or on a Legend clear, or each Legend clear works towards a shiny and 2-3 clears gives one Because right now shinies arent special. Rarity is different from straight up dog -blam!- drop rates Meanwhile if you dont play alot and only a few times a week the rng favors you and gives you great loot its why so many people get exotics first try after not playing a while. You get punished for playing, I wish Sony would read these forums

Major oops on their part. Bungie devs already explained that shiny variants were to be [b]plentiful[/b] and [u]rare[/u] as in [i]played and obtained during the very short and limited time to show that you played during that time[/i], [b]not[/b] rare as in extremely bad drop rates. -

They up it slightly, expect you guys to grind again like you guys are doing now. Some of you are lucky. The only ones I've seen are the ones from the bounties. I haven't gotten a shiny drop from the boxes yet. Or from the vendor or the box next to shax. So idk, I'll just get my super black shader and call it a day. The weapons are "meh" anyway. Don't care for recycled crap, that we already invested time and energy for them to take it away and give it back with barely the same power it once had

2 RepliesThere might need to be more guarantees if that's what their data that they have says. People should not be getting less for playing more and basically boosting the game's overall playtime then getting nothing, or very little. In matchmade content or even if you're playing with clan mates that have less time if you end up with very little for doing that it's just vampiric with this game at this point, it's 10 years old. My experience with Onslaught has been perfectly fine but that could be because I don't have that much time in pve. Then you look at my pvp stats and it looks like a junk yard. Sooooo, kinda backwards and upside down. I would hope that aspect of the game could lighten up a bit even if with the guaranteed drops for tormentors, because some of us know what that is too.
