This felt wierd at first but I love it now keep this in the game bungie!!

There is a little bit to much special ammo but that's great to have again more than 2 snipers ammo a trials game 😭
-
I prefer the special bar. The new crate system is bad, nothing but hopeless apes with conditional. I feel forced to use a special to counter specials, and it feels so bad. Also, what's the point of incentivising loot on a flawed card when the point of trials is to go to the light house? And with that, I am retiring from trials until the special crates are gone.

Played - or rather did not leaving twice - two games this morning. Both games the same 0.1% top sweat lord with 400k kills glorious/flawless etc guy. Spawn trapped and insta killed in seconds. Sniped to heaven. I could not even fathom what happened. I will use my time better this weekend.

It’s worse than the ammo charging thing which I despise. I don’t get it, they’ve made some good progress with Onslaught and the live stream. So much so I almost preordered TFS. Then they do this with Trials to remind me they just keep making mistake after mistake with the crucible. They need to undo all their recent changes with the exception of the persistence card. Get rid of ammo charging and up the body shot damage. If they really want primary gunfights then make a primary only playlist. We’ve got enough playlists we can replace one with a primary only.

Nothing about trials respects the player’s time.

Yeah, I hate the crates. Before them, we always had to earn our special. Whether it was killing someone and them dropping a brick, or us earning one via the special ammo meter, we never had to fight for special because we couldn’t earn it. It’s a dumb system and it causes an unhealthy snowballing effect.

Can we just get rid of Trials already? I'm sick of coming on here every weekend to see what's up, only for 80% of the Posts complaining about something Trials related.

Edited by nonchalantone: 4/13/2024 11:40:25 PM"The only people being nice and positive about it are the full time streamers".... Who do you think the changes were for? As long as they're happy, and can promote the game for them...win-win.

I think there alright. They are definitely better than the special bar that's for sure.

Edited by A_mo: 4/14/2024 6:30:11 PMThat's 40 upvotes so far. So some people must like it. Generally if someone likes something the forum peer pressure to always be negative keeps them from posting about it. So that's good I guess. Probably a little too much special overall for me but its good that there's evidence that some people like it.

I actually like it

Basically, CoD now. The pvp is less unique than ever.
-
Better than the stupid meter.
-
I mean, people need skill now 🤷
-
ofc is boring, but guess what this forum asked for that
-
I agree

I'm just going to post this here since OP is probably at work. The game messes up with the movement stuff over and over and over and then people apply fairy tales to it. Sorry if people get upset when someone steps in front of them while they're "calmly" shooting and being calm. That's also something that's going to fall into certain players' laps more than others over time and you'll be able to tell.

You’re playing Trials today?

Edited by A_mo: 4/12/2024 5:44:03 PMTbh, if I had to guess from the tiny amount that I've played, it might need to be adjusted or possibly go back to one of the two previous forms of special distribution.
The only peolle being nice and positive about it are the full time streamers
You should have just stopped the sentence here because by and large the humble people in this game are the people that are good at it. You'd be surprised how rarely good players talk about how good they are, for the most part. The game can't factor your job in as a skill because that turns into a mess. Players have to be able to meet it in the middle somehow or its just going to be a mess and it gets to a point where some people lack the experience with the game to know why their career being factored causes collateral damage but you're not allowed to tell them that. So until people figure out they have to pay attention its not going to matter what or how much the game does. Maybe they need something that's a little easier to pay attention to than special crates because a lot of people don't have very much map knowledge. But the good thing is the spawn system in comp doesn't seem to be too overly ridiculous with trying to correct that. It can get that way really quick though and then there's all the other stuff that can start happening as well.
