Honestly idk why but I've thinking about this a lot or well it pops up in the back of my head every now and then but what happens if our guardian has children if ever. Like will our ghost move on to them too or will they eventually get their own ghost once they die and if they are chosen then completely forget about us since memories become forgotten. Or is it like borderlands where the New U stations would make you sterile, even though they were proven to be non-canon they were just a bases for respawning in a game. But ghosts are canon so idk.
Forgive me if this was actually somewhat answered a long time ago
Once again a very weird thing to think about.

Guardian cannot reproduce, however Ghosts can move on to someone else, which I only know of happening twice.
Like will our ghost move on to them too or will they eventually get their own ghost once they die and if they are chosen then completely forget about us since memories become forgotten.
This however does have some precedence within the narrative as the Ghost of the Guardian known as Jared Ward transferred over to Shin Malphur after the former was killed by Dredgen Yor (formerly Rezyl Azzir). After serving Dredgen Yor his final death, Shin Malphur would eventually assume the identity of Dredgen Vale and found the Shadows of Yor in order to root out and destroy those who would follow in Yor’s footsteps.
