Right now they don't allow any change. Because I assume to much work. But if they allowed it every 1 time a year or 1 time every 2 or 3 a year etc. It would decrease issues.

The issues of changing names. If they allowed it to happen all the time, I would understand the bugs and stuff. But giving them some time to work like 1 year or 2 would be ok. Again, this is just my feedback.

Bungie allowed one name change, for free. That’s more than enough.

That doesn't answer my question; what difference would an annual name change make, due in part to the fact that there's only a year and change left, maybe 2, in the game's current life (that we're aware of so far), but also because it has no impact on gameplay?

Your Bungie name will carry over to any future Bungie titles , so people can recognize you across games and platforms, so it's not just got a year of relevance left , it's a Bungie name , not a Destiny name If any other future Bungie titles get made that is, things looking pretty bleak now, Final Shape is there last shot

I can see your point, but it still has no effect on the game itself so people making such a fuss over it seems silly to me. No joke, I read a post last night where someone actually said they'd happily pay $50 to change their name; what the hell?

Everyone has a opinion this is mine. It doesn't matter if there is no gameplay change. While you prefer say gameplay changes, I prefer being able change my name. I just don't care for the name I use anymore. 🤷 not sure what you want me to say .

Okay, it just seems to me that of all the issues people have with this game calling name changes a low priority would be generous.

A friend of mine made a name he thought was funny for like 16 seconds thinking he could change it as many times as he wanted. Apparently, nobody reports it, so he's had it since they first allowed that change. He tells me periodically that he wishes he could change it. Its... [spoiler]Smellytunabox[/spoiler] I've never made a name change and don't plan to, but it does seem pretty ridiculous that you can only do that once ever.

I didn't even bother with trying for something clever for my tag, I just went with simple and easy to remember. 🤷♂️ I do sort of understand where people want to change their tag, whether it was a youthful indiscretion or there's been a significant life-change, but it still remains of low importance in the grand scheme of issues Bungie needs to focus on.

Truth, they need to be working on making the game fun and exciting again, people are tired of chores and 2nd jobs Or there will be no one left to care about your name
