Tommy’s Matchbook has exceptional trouble registering bullets at medium-long to long range, and no other gun (except maybe Cerberus +1, lol) feels like it has this struggle; it can either ghost-bullet HARD or heavily delay the damage registration, both of which take away from the player experience while using it. As a result, I would like it if this gun was looked at for potential tuning.
I suspect that this issue has to do with whatever under-the-hood tuning the weapon has, but I hope that it isn’t a deliberate balance decision because of its good hipfire; I don’t think Tommy’s Matchbook would suddenly shoot past the likes of Quicksilver Storm or Necrochasm in both PvE and PvP if it was allowed to shoot like a normal auto rifle from ADS at longer ranges. I’m guessing that its shockingly bad recoil (64) for an exotic also doesn’t help with this issue, so it would be nice to have that considered for tuning as well.
