Iron banner shader called “Iron countershade”
Has anybody received the Iron Countershade shader as an after game reward in this current Iron banner? I’ve played tons of matches, 3 resets worth, and it hasn’t dropped. I know there’s rng luck involved but I’d hate to keep trying only to find out it doesn’t even drop anymore.
I googled but the most recent post I could see saying they got it as a drop was from April of 2023.

1 ReplyIt's a bit late in the week to be saying it, but I can confirm that I got Iron Countershade to drop during the current Iron Banner, having not obtained it in its season of release.

I’ve reset only once, but I’m sure I got that shader from dismantling an armour piece

1 ReplyHave you tried buying and dismantling from the legacy iron companion set? That is where the shader came from and I do know dismantling armor drops shaders. Can try that.

Supposedly they can drop. A lot of people claim they get them fairly quickly. I have played close to 100 matches this week and had no shaders drop. Shits insane. The FOMO strategy for Bungie continues lol

1 ReplyThey should probably just add old shaders to the Legacy Focusing sections. Make them 5 engrams or something crazy. Enough that you need to grind for them but still decently reasonable to obtain…

I got mine from playing and getting to the second reset in its respective season, but as far as old IB loot goes I have gotten several old emblems and one old shader as RNG drops this season. Its RNG so best of luck, you just have to keep at it.
