Time to leave old Gen behind.

I doubt you'll ever see this Bungie, but if you do please take this into consideration. Back in the day, during the D1 Days, you guys left behind the Xbox 360/PS3 before the Rise of Iron launched. Not only did it allow you to expand Destiny 1 to lengths you couldn't possibly do before but it gave you the opportunity for you to give us Destiny 2. Well, the time has now come again. I understand that pre-Covid and during Covid, it was difficult to obtain an Xbox Series X/S and PS5. But now these consoles are very easily obtained and now are in most homes. Or people have switched to PC. Not only with far more powerful hardware, but with far more storage space as well. If you truly want The Final Shape to be the best it can be, leave old gen behind. It will allow you to go nuts, and maybe bring back old content (big maybe). I hope some of you see this at least. A recent community chat with Evanf1997, Gladd, and ManoDestra revealed that you guys need a separate build of the game to run on the old gen consoles which bogs down progress. If this is true please reconsider supporting old gen. Edit: After seeing some of the comments I realize I should've posed this as a question rather than an actual feedback response. It was a mistake and I probably should've thought it out more. So I should probably ask, do you guys think old gen should be left behind? Or do you think Bungie should come out with a Destiny 3 on current gen only? Edit 2: I've added the YouTube link to the video in question. Yes it's a long video but you can skip to the part. Timestamp where Gladd talks about this is 1:32:15. You guys can make your own opinions on the matter afterwords.
