It kinda poses you to build into strength if you wanted to use the aspect frequently
Giving it a 7 second usage with a 7 second cooldown as you come out of it probably would’ve made this a little more convenient to use alongside build crafting
Just an opinion- maybe they saw it this way at some point but I figure to at least bring it up

Na screw it make icarus dash take up the rift slot instead it’s already the most free movement tool in the game that outclasses an equivelnt like thruster might as well put it down or at least spread the love and give each class something similar level

Edited by Hawpy: 10/14/2023 7:32:17 PMI think the uptime is fine; between Strength investment, Thread of Fury, melee mods and Monte Carlo if needed, it can be active as much as you need. Unfortunately, it isn't worth using IMO. As powerful as it is a reactionary defensive tool, the complete inability to interact with anything make it too awkward to use. No one is asking for the ability to capture objectives or hold relics, but the fact you can't pick up ammo or orbs is a huge miss. Why it only gets one Fragment slot is also completely beyond logic. On Broodweaver, and especially when using Weavewalk, Thread of Evolution for bonus Threadling damage is almost necessary. Thread of Fury is needed for the melee regen, which leaves you with a single Fragment slot that's open for you. Meanwhile, Banner of War gets two slots and none of the shackles? Weavewalk is not so much more powerful than any other Aspect available to any class that it deserves to be the only one in the game to have that treatment; remember that Warlock is now the only class that can have 3 fragment slots in a build and the only one that can't have 5.

Also.. Monte Carlo... No need to build strength..
-
Because it's tied to an ability .... ID is not.

1 ReplyIdk, I think the way they handled it wad very well done. I get your example is only an example, but weave walk is a lot stronger than a dash. It gives you invis, huge dmg resist, threadlings. With the right build, you get it back faster than an icarus dash. Though, you have to REALLY build into it

Maybe cause it’s strong
-
Mostly because of how strong it is. It needs a huge cooldown in order to keep it as powerful as it already is.
-
This is because of pvp versus pve it's strength is too strong to give it a short separate cooldown for pvp but in pve it badly needs something like this. Kinda shows why bungie should really look into separating the sandboxes completely.

Use monte carlo with it and youll use it whenever you want
-
3 Repliescuz without that it will be even more broken , and is already a broken ability

2 Repliesdon't you think, bye bye time with Strand. 1, Strand will be tone down 2, the be no buff going to happen same as stasis.. as final shape there will be no new darkness subclass.
