Why? I think it’s fairly obvious that OP isn’t a 2.5 kd player. Does that invalidate the point?

I think a lot of people would rather ask for handouts or invalidate others accomplishments by saying they’re only achieving flawless because there’s no SBMM instead of working on self improvement in what should be the pinnacle challenge of PvP, where higher skilled players should be giving the opportunity to display skill. There’s alot of low KD players who barely understand the game mode, requesting changes that would instantly kill it without actually putting thought into it because they’re upset at their skill range.

I said it cus I was thinking to myself, how many people in this game would work hard enough to go flawless? In the current age of the game it's hard too catch up to the people with a 1.2kd. I feel like most people will just write a post out of spite instead of trying to become good enough. And yes I do understand trials is a rng slot machine as well, even I get screwed by it sometimes.

Yes, it is hard to catch up. And the player base is very diverse, very different age groups, very different time investments, very different equipment. On console, lots of people are using m&k, Cronus and stuff like that. If you don’t have any of this, it’ll be a straight up disadvantage. If you have a good internet connection, it’s also a disadvantage. Or if you live in the EU and play Xbox and are continuously matched up with German PlayStation players while the cross play experience is questionable for PvP at best. I really put in my time but my stats don’t reflect it at all and neither does my success in PvP, meaning for example being able to reach the lighthouse or getting to specific ranks in comp. But I attribute only part of that to my actual skill level.

And after all I don't mean to call people out but... I can't help but remember most my teammates or opponents running absolute pve loadouts in trials. I wonder if any people like that would post on here. But I do respect ur comment cus you're right.
