How bout that splash screen!
-
A magician doesn’t want you paying attention to what’s going on in one hand so they’ll distract you with the other hand.
-
Why is there a daily limit to how much we're allowed to be overcharged by ridiculous rahool for cores?
-
1 ReplyAh yes the legendary sharts, bungie will charge you more glimmer and engrams via inflation in the guise of ease of use and removal of another 'useless' currency allegedly.
-
The Shard this, the Shard that
-
No one ever cared about shards except the delusional people that think it holds some sort of value. Lol.
-
4 Replies-blam!- cares about the thousands and thousands of shards sitting there doing nothing.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Clone: 9/18/2023 11:16:01 AMThat's why they let it run and didn't insta disable, plus massive player number boost, trials player count boost, huge wave of effortless content for creators and draw attention from how bad the games current state and numbers are.

9 RepliesNow we have to wait and see what comes after the glitch.
-
That was the point. We around start again, let's ignore the new bugs that came after the 'fix'. Shards...shards...shards
-
Thanks to the glitch, LOL
It pretty horrible as everything now costs cores and they arnt easy to come by what a joke that crafting has chewed my cores up now more than ever I never asked for ascendant alloy to choke my inventory up haven’t used one in fking ages and why when I can’t craft crap all without cores
-
It will return , Bungie will cave anyway and let you keep your scrooge mcduck pile of Shards
-
2 RepliesI have personally never had a lot of shards ever as I don't grind the game as much as a used too, and Upgrade modules are expensive as hell. I don't care that shards are going away, but it is shame for the people with thousands and thousands and no way to really cash them in once they are rendered useless.
-
Sure its shards now, but remember orbs? Everyone was mad about orbs. Now orbs are all over the place and people are chasing orbs or possibly even using the orb vacuum mod.
-
10 RepliesThat's cause it was a non-issue to begin with. People just like complaining about something when it comes to the game. The true destiny way on these boards lol. Watch, after the glitch gets fixed, people will complain they can't have fun anymore cause the game too hard lol.
-
1 ReplyEdited by A_mo: 9/17/2023 2:26:13 PMLol. Wasn't it monetization (again) the week before that? That is one thing that's just so weird to watch. How some people will just go from one thing to the next to be angry about. And not even notice what they look like.
-
Because no one cares ….it’s shards in game resource . Good riddance
-
13 RepliesImagine thinking that not having to grind for shards ever again is a bad thing just cause someone has 10k and is mad they held onto them for no reason
-
1 ReplyMost of the people here don't really care about anything in the game. They just like to -blam!- & moan.

Edited by Killdozer FTW: 9/17/2023 11:39:28 PM
Thanks to the glitch, LOL
It's almost as if by design... [puts on tinfoil hat and backs out of the room]

I think its time we start to discuss what we think is a fair exchange for the shards. I've settled on two shards per core. Who's with me!?!?!?!!? One core for two shards. Seems fair, right?
-
2 RepliesIf it brings people to the game and helps population numbers, it isn't all bad.
-
I only use my shards to get glimmer at this point bc everything is so expensive (prob glimmer inflation or tower tax). Weapon crafting, exotic armor focusing, weapon leveling, and purchasing fragments (4 those who need to) are probably top 4 or 5 most expensive glimmer purchases. Sure u are not going to be doing these all the time but it takes so long to get the glimmer back bc i dont want to do public events.
-
So maybe the glitch being aloud to stay was intentional. Mmmm
-
Shards aren’t an issue anyways. For the players that invest time they’ll more then likely spend their time playing for what they want and not hanging around vendors decrypting.
-
Makes sense, wouldn’t put it past em.
