Genuinely some of the worst cosmetic choices ive ever seen in a videogame.
Season after season, players, especially titans, have been asking for better looking armor that actually looks like armor. Specifically scifi. I understand a season has a theme, but really? Our option is to look like mummified weeds?
If you think i'm being too harsh on creative freedoms, let me just point out that the artists didnt use any form or consistency, it is very slapped together, the biggest indicator being flowers just tucked under the armpits of the titan like he hasnt taken a bath in 5 years.
Destiny 2 players love fashion and mixing and matching is a strong point of expanding transmog armor options, and this set just sticks out too much to flow with other outfits.
Again, some expamples of armor concepts with a nature theme that have been done before and are in my opinion, drastically better, using form, consistent shapes that compliment anatomy, or extensions of the body.

Also, destiny has done a sort of "reclaimed by nature" set before. And it was also really ugly, and i have [b]never once. NOT ONCE. LITERALLY EVER. [/b]seen anyone else wear it since its release:

Yeah that was disgustingly bad. Was pretty hyped when I saw the Warlock and it had a hive themed look, but this just killed that hype for me. If the rumours are true and Crota’s End return at least that hive gear will comeback.

I was about to disagree with you, but then I looked at your examples and I came back down to earth. I agree, destiny armor kind of sucks. It’s a product of the world we live in, everyone wants to give out participation awards and include everyone. The designers of armor in destiny just make boring armor. Side note: I did wear that nature armor for a while. The only reason was…..no one else was wearing it lol

1 ReplyLol, I mentioned how bad the new seasonal ornaments are to me, on their instagram page, and some prebubescent teenager who has never played D1 (AOT Armor), and watched too many peppa pig episodes as a child telling me how delusional and wrong I am. Tried to explain to the thing the meaning of "subjective". That was followed by a bunch of DMs and threats followed by "bet, bet", which nearly made me spit out a glass of whisky as I could not contain my laughter. Came to the conclusion that kids who were dropped on their head as a baby, really likes sticks, because it reminds them of that single potplant they were allowed to have as a companion, because they tend to kill every other living thing in uncontrolable fits of rage.

I feel like warlocks always get the worst cosmetics out of the 3 classes, all of the helmets look like a dumb oversized hat, some round ugly helmet with a skinny visor or something going down the middle of the face, or it just looks overall bad like Iron banner armor or every seasons helmet. I just want something like Nezarec sin, I like the horn style but the closest ones we have are the Frost Reach, Dendrite Shimmer, and Mobile Exoskeleton all of which are from holliday events that are greatly overpriced

It’s a witch theme. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but for what it’s worth they actually did a good job with it.

I don't HATE it but it's not my cup of tea either. Although, I'm not against making it look like my hunter has a mullet because that's all I can see when I look at it's head 😂

And here I was, loving the Titan and Hunter sets while being ridiculously disappointed the Warlock set didn't have any plant overgrowth like the other two. Guess they can't please everyone.

Literally one of the worse armour sets I’ve seen 🙄 like you said we want decent looking armour….I posted somewhere else that the best recent seasonal armour was the season of the haunted……we’re near the endgame and titans are getting flower shoulder armour

I hate these armor sets with a passion and I haven't even seen them (and probably never will) on my Guardians.

The warlock set is pretty ugly, but the titan and hunter one are okay. Might be tough to match with exotics, but I’m sure there are people out there that really like this kind of look.

I like the look of it (Hunter main, so that's what I was looking at), but feel as though a futuristic sci-fi game isn't right for it; it looks as though it should be in a 'swords and sorcery' game as opposed to Destiny.
