SMS Validation

I'd really like to access the competitive mode in crucible, which requires SMS validation however when I put my phone number in and click send code I never receive the code. I know its not just me with this issue, does anyone know if bungie is trying to fix it? Before anyone asks: I have got the right country It is definitely the right number And I have waited for the message. Bungie, if you are trying to fix it, thank you.
