The PvP ain't it, Chief
I've always been someone who enjoys a challenge, but this PvP format is unbearable. I've played through almost all forms of multiplayer games. I fell in love with Destiny's PvP for it's uniqueness in combining builds and loadouts with the addictive play making within the PvP experience. Not to mention when you finally get that highly desired godroll to drop, your first instinct is to hop into the Crucible and see how the weapon feels. There is no better feeling in the world than finding that perfect weapon roll that just slaps inside the Crucible! Sadly, my feelings as of late have changed drastically. The Crucible has felt like more of a chore. I find myself less interested in playing and I feel like I'm fighting the system itself with connection issues plaguing my games. Melees not connecting, bullets seem to miss even on target. Being at full health at the beginning of a firefight, only to realize I've been damage glitched. Nothing has been more frustrating than having a portion of my team back out of the match, leaving me and two Blueberries to try and hold our own against Immortal using, Cloudstriking, Arc Titans. It pains me to see Bungie continue down this path with the poor changes to PvP. This use to be my game, and now I touch grass for fun.

And say thanks to Bungie for abandoning this games pvp back in 2019 to work on a new pvp game that will hopefully flop. I only stuck with the game because of its amazingly fun pvp. Witout it, i would have stopped playing back in 2017 after finishing the campaign. Sad to see what this game turned into nowadays with all the cringe ability spammy clown fiesta in pvp. Like the game has been updated into an unplayable state pvp wise. Noobs get handout kills left and right with op onehit exotics that require zero skill and with their almost 100 % uptime ability spams. Reminds me of the Fortnite situation. At first noone knew how to build and everyone loved the game. Then they introduced quick building etc and everyone turned into a cracked builder, everyone started hating the game with all that + all the new abilities and insane pickups and clustered map etc. They went too far. Then they brought a zero build mode back and that mode now is almost more popular than the build spam mode. If only we could have a no ability spam mode... But knowig the nerds that play this game, they probably wouldnt want their aim skills to be the deciding factor and instead keep playing the ability spam clown fiesta.

6 RepliesIf you are on Steam.......any frames over 60 is the problem. You take less damage with lower frames sadly. The game is designed for the console. As a PC player, I am so tried of Arc and Void Titans who use the loadout you mentioned above. And now it's getting more annoying with Graviton Lance and Sweet Business spam. The annoying part is they won't do anything until Mid Season. The season content needs to go and Bungie needs to be more active.

1 ReplyIn 3 days I’ll be in Diablo 4. This game is no longer fun it’s just a chore and stress induced game. Nobody wants to be carrying brain dead noobs in pvp or in pve all the time. Ever since this game went to free to play it’s been downhill. In D1 I didn’t have these issues. Matter of fact I could play D1 all day and have a good time but not in D2. The devs obviously don’t care. I’ll play Final Shape only because at this point you might as well see how things end but after that I’m done.

They've completely given up on PVP and have settled with breaking a few weapons each season to keep the PVP mains entertained.

I don't know how anyone can defend this right now, it's one of the worst ovo experiences I've ever seen. Their matchmaking is atrocious. You'd be better off having -blam!- monkeys throwing darts at a dart board while -blam!- each other in the -blam!-, it's that bad.

1 ReplyThe fact they can’t add more pvp modes is weird. Why not add a halo style arena mode that is more than just scorch cannons? Why not bring back SRL as LTM (like IB/trials) and have classic mode and ADD team rely mode (4 teams of 3) Those two mode would be SO easy for bungie to implement within a season if they wanted to. I mean even something like griff ball would be fun as a LTM.

Not just pvp but pve as well every pve related activity has become a chore.

It also sucks Framerate does effects how you take damage, and lastly the parts shots aren't connecting feeling like its going through players yeah its true there are holes in player models.

Bungies PvP is -blam!-. It’s nothing but titans being -blam!- broken, special weapon crutches and one shot tracking bullshit. It’s the worst PvP in any game that I’ve ever played.
