Unlinking Steam Account Without PSN
I need to unlink my steam account, but I cannot because I have no access to the PSN account. I recently logged in to find all my characters deleted and a fresh warlock made. I'm assuming it was whoever owns the PlayStation (parted ways in 2017). I just want to start fresh and avoid any future issues with a new bungie account, I could care less if they keep all my exotics. I can't reach out to Sony as it is no longer my account, and I have 0 possible ways to contact whoever has the PSN account now.

3 RepliesHi there. Unfortunately, if you can't authenticate both accounts, then the Cross Save cannot be disabled. You will need to work with Sony or the owner of the PS account to disable the Cross Save. Under no circumstances will Bungie forcefully unlink or remove an account as that would be unauthorized. https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide
