The Root of Nightmares

Is a spectacular dreamscape that I thoroughly enjoyed conquering with my clan mates. The hybrid paracausal expanse was another beautiful Destiny aesthetic. While it didn't provide the same intense challenge of VoTD, it is an excellent addition. In Vow the demand was immediately apparent with the presence of every preceding relic. The unrelenting waves of enemies. Rhulk. The unique damage mechanics, immunity phases, and intricate callouts. I think everyone, even people that haven't completed other raids, should at least take a crack at Root of Nightmares It is my hope that the Final Shape raid returns to more exacting design standards befitting of its place in the Destiny franchise, but this one was spectacular.

  • I personally enjoyed Roots even though yes 3rd and 4th Encounters were annoying on Contest I find overall the mechanics aren't demanding to the point that it's confusing. That's one reason i despise VoD just of all the random symbols that you have to use but heyo I got my first ever 48hrs emblem and I'm happy about it I can finally go outside....
