I'm not upset about the fact that Neptune is a futuristic fairy tale VR land, or that Nimbus is a non-binary representation check mark. I'm upset that they chose the eleventh hour of the light and darkness saga to try and distract us with this narrative. What is supposed to be narrative that shows us the death of the Traveller, about beginning of the final shape, instead ferry's you away to a lighthearted story that sets a drastic tone shift from the world around it. We need to understand with Lightfalls lack of answers there are only four more seasons, and ten or so more campaign missions in Final Shape to wrap up this ten year light and dark saga. With Lightfall distancing itself from the main narrative outside of the first and last cutscenes of the expansion, there is so much more riding on Final Shape and it's limited amount of campaign missions now to give so much of the saga a proper payoff.
