Hello my name is Jerry. I am a small content creator on twitch and I have been making content for destiny for some time now. Ive played destiny since alpha launch back on the ps3. Ive seen this game grow and shape to what it needs to be and something ive always felt and noticed about each expansion release is, what next? I have so many questions? Things like that I would always ask myself after each expansion release. I have thousands of gripes about destiny 2 mainly gameplay wise, but this finally is drawing a line. With much respect to team at bungie as much as possible and the narrative team. But honestly what in the hell is going on! Destiny at this point feels like my playing Heroine Hero from South Park, Im chasing a dragon, I have no idea why, I get drip feed content that is good but never lasting (The Heroine) and then I run through this vicious cycle of not understanding anything. No one would ever have known that Osiris was some guru on elemental powers because never in the destiny story has Osiris ever been portrayed as paracausal expert. Destiny describe Osiris as a vex hating, Vex networking surviving, Gay, possessed character, and now he is teaching us a subclass that no one had any idea about. How does this make sense, and for new people to destiny how are they supposed to know this when you have over 50 different lore books with no way for anyone to know where to start nor end. Im baffled that this is what has become of destiny. We have no idea what the Veil is and this is something that has been and huge moment for us. Originally thinking it was a darkness race, to now supposedly being a key to open the traveler but it also holds this magical thing called the Cloud Ark, I can go on for hours and argue and complain about story issues and technical issues. Regardless, I would 100% be down and okay if bungie took a year off destiny to back track and recreate what they are doing so wrong. I want my content back, I want the story back, and futhore more I want my joy back. I want the love of this game to come back. If I put as many hours into games like CSGO, or Valorant id honestly be making money because holy -blam!- id be cracked. I love this game and only want to see it succeed. I would love nothing more than for bungie to give us answers. Will we ever see a new Engine? If we were to have a new engine could we have all campaign missions brought back? Can we get more player modules and quality of life updates? Can we get a full story that doesn't skip very crucial and important parts that make destiny what it is? I understand a new game engine has nothing to do with the story if destiny, but im complaining for good reasons and like to throw in my other gripes. Either way, I hope this message falls in the right hands and not opinionated causals that will argue there day 1 loadout with me. Thanks again. - Jerrys Cousin
