Hi there! If you have not made any changes to your network configuration when this happened, then most likely the issue is that your router did not release the ports correctly. Please restart your router. Unplug it from the power source, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Please note that, due to the complexity of setting up port forwarding rules and how each manufacturer does port forwarding, there really is no way to provide accurate assistance in doing so. You would need to refer to your router's user manual to determine how to do so.

  • I have restarted and reset my router to no avail. I didn’t change any router settings. I tried to hotspot my phone to the pc and it worked like a charm and get no messages regarding strict nat. The problem only occurs when i plug my pc to the router

  • This issue does sound like an issue on your router. As a precaution, please reboot your modem and router simultaneously. Unplug both of them and leave them unplugged for a minute. Then, plug your modem back in and let it fully boot up. Then, plug your router back in and let it fully boot up. Then, try again. If the issue persists, then something changed on your router. You will need to refer to your router’s user guide to review this further.
