Titan Controlled Demolition breaks grenade mods and Volatile Rounds in Duality or master mission
This was observed in Duality Dungeon, Vox Obscura (master) and throne world story mission (master).
It seems that a void Titan with Controlled Demolition aspect breaks many grenade related mods and buffs, specifically;
- Ashes to Assets
- Volatile Rounds
Both of these will not proc (or are very inconsistent) when Controlled Demolition is equipped.
I assume that when Controlled Demolition is equipped a grenade kill is counted as an abiltiy kill and not actually a grenade kill and will therefore not process grenade related mods and buffs. Additionally it seems the mission difficulty (enemy health) affects as to which of the two (Controlled Demolition or Grenade) actually counts as the kill. From my observations in Duality and these Master difficulty missions, it would very rarely count as a grenade kill, perhaps 1 grenade in 10.
In free roam it works as expected, presumably the grenade kills fast enough that Controlled Demolition doesn't have time to apply it's own explosion.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
