Last thread mistakenly got locked for some unknown reason. I am not attacking anybody and just generally curious why there hasn't been anything said about the whole month that is dedicated to men's health. Nothing in my previous post was problematic and I think there are some community moderators that have the wrong idea about what i am asking. I would also like for a community moderator to reach out to me and tell me why the last thread was locked?

Edited by BNGHelp6: 11/22/2022 4:51:05 PMNo. We may consider a mental health emblem for everyone in the future. Your last thread, just like this thread, appears to be in response to us creating a Trans-Awareness emblem since it's Trans-Awareness month. The fact that you took the time to type out "lgb" in your last thread instead of "lgbt" implies that you purposely did that since it's anti-trans language, and we don't want that in our community. Even now, in this thread, there are multiple comments that are discriminatory, racist, and more; I will be removing those soon and then locking this thread. Do better.
For those in a mental health crisis, you can also find country-specific resources and other resources for mental health in Bungie's Mental Health Resources guide.
Just like they did for womens health awareness, they should have done the same for the men. Just shows their bias
-
MAYBE it is because a woman can identify as a man, and they already celebrated women’s day? Just wait till women’s day next year, and identify as one of them…. Then you’ll get the love you’re searching for from Bungie.
-
I celebrate my virility regularly. Wanna know what I do?… Buggering! Lots and lots of buggering.
-
Must have been a Karen ninja, we all know they be flapping about stuff like this
-
Man bad is the official Bungie stance...unless there's profit or face to be had.
-
Locking the last thread for no reason was bs and very telling that they dont respect us the players AT ALL. It also comes across as though they dont give a crap about mens health. Which is sad because most gamers are men, most life deletions are men (70%), and men do indeed have health issues such as prostate cancer...
-
Why was the previous post locked? Bungie... Come on. Be Better. Men mental health issues are worthy of attention. What is wrong with you? Where's your empathy? Where's your humanity?
-
Nah, Bungie has trash morales and business practices.
-
Bungie doesn’t stand for anything unless it is to virtue signal.

Edited by Wes: 11/22/2022 1:38:13 AMI don't really mind all the "awareness" stuff going on. Especially in the face of the most recent shooting. Hate is hate and it needs to go. However, when a company only seems to "raise awareness" for highly politicized identities, and then leave out things like Veteran's Day and International Men's Day, it makes the cynic in me question their motives. This is not the first time these have been ignored either. Some stats and links for you: Men commit suicide at 4 times the rate of women, making up approximately 80% of all suicides. https://afsp.org/suicide-statistics/ Men are more likely to be killed or injured at work. https://www.statista.com/statistics/187127/number-of-occupational-injury-deaths-in-the-us-by-gender-since-2003/ Men make up the vast majority of those killed in wars. Men work necessary, outdoor, laborious jobs at long hours. Most people aren't even applying for these jobs, as many can be brutal for anyone. https://www.bls.gov/cps/cpsaat11.htm Men tend to get less than preferential treatment in the courtroom when compared to women committing the same crime. https://www.ojp.gov/ncjrs/virtual-library/abstracts/gender-differences-sentencing-felony-offenders#additional-details-0 Most of the prison population is men. Roughly 30% of domestic abuse victims are men, and that is vastly underreported and there's virtually no support for male victims at all. (Yes. Women make up 70% of victims, but there's a lot more publicly funded support for them. The support difference is the point here.) https://www.mankind.org.uk/statistics/statistics-on-male-victims-of-domestic-abuse/ Men have a significantly higher rate of homelessness and make up the majority of those on the streets. https://endhomelessness.org/demographic-data-project-gender-and-individual-homelessness/ And there's more. Child custody. Homicide victims. Isolation. The list goes on.

Sorry, its not lgbt or woke so it wont get recognition. Just like our veterans
-
They promote what's trending, LGBT issues has been their focus for awhile lol before that it was blm, they'll change when the next wave hits.
-
Nobody will ever explain why they locked your last post cause they have no reason
-
It wouldn’t fit Bungie’s Agenda
-
"Mistakenly locked" or not, they're going to lock this one too in all likelihood since reposting a previously locked thread is probably "against the rules" or whatever. Not that the rules have ever been applied equally, of course.
-
Only cowards silence a post about a real, valid issue. There's no excuse the lock the previous thread.
-
It is movember an all. How about a moustache emblem 👍🏼
-
It didn’t mistakenly get locked out The ninjas here are very bias. They don’t want your post being seen. Nobody seems to care about men mental health awareness cuz theirs no charity to use as a write off These corporations are all about the MONEY bungie doesn’t care about men mental health
-
People make the mistake of thinking corporations, especially ones as big and profitable as Bungie, do literally anything out the good of their heart or genuine support. No. They are in it to virtue signal, and profit off of gullible people who believed them. That's it. Whether they are supporting things you support, or things you are against, the only thing they see is money. They probably don't even know what many things mean, or what they are actually supporting, or what the supported groups think about it, it just looks good in front of the investors. Don't believe, even for a second, that they genuinely support anything. They are here to stir up PR bullshit and pander to groups that are trending. If Men's Health was trending, they would be supporting that in a heartbeat, but it isn't, so they ignore it.
-
Bungie doesn't care about the fans they care about their ESG(woke) score.
-
I don't think anyone at Bungie has the balls to tell us what a man even is.
-
The mods and ninjas are unchecked because most of the Bungie staff personally enjoys their passive aggressive behavior.
-
I didn't even know its was men's health month. I didn't even know we HAD ONE. Eh not like it matters anyways, raising awareness doesn't make the problems go away nor does it make me feel better. It's sad that we have to break up mental health awareness at all. The whole -blam!- year should be supporting people that need it :/
-
I’m waiting to see things like white pride, military appreciation, law enforcement appreciation, men’s health awareness, ect. Bungie seems to be all over this woke BLM and gay awareness stuff but never on the opposite side. Just figure what you do for one you should do for all. Be fair.

Totally agree
