Pvp match making is broken lol
Match making is seriously broken lol! Now it matches better players against weaker players!
Their top frag kd was 5.5 and lowest was 1.87. My teams top frag was 1.5 and lowest was 0.67. Its so bad its funny. I saw how they played to and knew it was totally not balanced. 2 guys running away from a half dead smg player. The way they moved were like CS GO bots lol!

They either will have sbmm so loose that players will still complain or they will have it so strict higher skilled players will get punished with laggy matches and incredily long matchmaking times. And behold bungie themselves said that matchmaking times were doubled or more for players at the high and low skill end

The way they moved were like CS GO bots lol![/quote] Top players cried and bungie caved. Honestly I’m surprised we even got 2 weeks of proper sbmm. I expected bungie to cave after 2-3 days. I’d expect another cave in a month or two and they will still call it sbmm but really it’ll just be CBMM called sbmm in the hopes it tricks and pleases the average player. We are already half way there. What we got now is closer to CBMM than sbmm anyways. It’s like a 4 tier cake with sprinkles and the sprinkles is sbmm.

Me, being an average player at best with a bronze elo was stuck in a match with 6 diamonds and top 500 legend. Needless to say, I got completely obliterated and contributed nothing to the team. There's no frickin' way that should be possible. The lobby itself was fairly balanced, but there was no way I should have been put in that match. It literally made me turn off Destiny 2 after because I was so disgusted. The only thing I can think of is that the population is completely dead now and no one is playing PvP anymore so the looser matchmaking has a tiny pool to choose from. At this point, I just feel like we're back to CBMM again.

I've got a high combat rating so it expects me to carry 5 potatoes against a team full of average to above average players every match in control and we always get stomped. I'm just going to stop playing this season because it isn't fun losing every match because i'm the only one finishing with a positive k/d on my team.

PvP has always been broken for years now. If they have a solid game, we wouldn’t be in this mess now. It’s broken, and we all know it. Here’s the catch. They won’t probably fix it. Because they can’t. The problem lies so deep they won’t even touch it now. Beyond laughable!🤣

1 ReplyI don’t understand how they messed it up that bad from D1, I remember trails would pair you with people around the same wins and skill level which made trials fun, I was on my second win and played a team that was on there 6 win going on to go flawless on us with two wins, fully don’t understand
