RIP Loreley Splendor. Time for Hunter and warlock nerfs.
Loreley Splendor helm was just assassinated for being "too good" in low level content, so I think its time for the other classes to get some nerfs too. Omnioculus makes hunters immortal in pve content, including GM content. Star eater scales does way too much damage. Well of radiance gives x2 restoration which is apparently OP, it makes an entire team immortal instead of a single person, and it gives a damage bonus too? Plus you can equip lunafaction to give a range bonus or phoenix protocol to make it have near 100% uptime? Definitely needs a nerf! Wormhusk crown makes hunters too strong in PVE, and it's too easy to activate with near 100% uptime. And of course, divinity needs a nerf because it's too powerful in raids and GMs.
Feel free to flame me in the comments, I know ya'll are gunna be mad about this take and idc. I'm mad that you guys forced this nerf when the other two classes already have ways of making people immortal. But y'know it's too strong on titan because... x2 restoration.... but let's ignore that Warlocks have it too, cause the real problem is making yourself immortal in low-mid level content...... but let's ignore that Hunters are immortal in all levels of content with infinite invisibility.

Maybe restoration x2 for less time, or for only a second, but it keeps procing if you stand in the sun spot. So you can’t run around with restoration x2. But let’s have some perspective. You basically had a better warlock rift. No casting animation, can out heal more damage, you didn’t have to stand in a single spot, and a shorter cool down.

3 RepliesListen mate. LS was broken. X1 restoration is also still gonna work just fine for it. It was used to solo flawless master duality and remains one of the best strats to do so. It casts when low on health, sunspots give energy back to wielder so it has nearly 100% uptime. Well… well is busted. If you haven’t heard saltagreppos take on it I’d recommend looking into it. He’s kinda gotten -blam!- on for his takes recently. But Well honestly makes up a lot of the endgame experience, will it ever change? Can it? Idk man idk. Lastly… yea in PVE or PVP invis is king to all🫡 I’ve heard it’s not very fun to use though? So take a win in that!

2 RepliesDon't worry, hunters and warlocks will get their nerfs to, they always do, all classes do and all powerful pieces of gear receives the nerf hammer sooner or later, to the point that it's just sucking the fun out of the game and leaving us with only the mindless grind, rince repeat, buy the next the dlc and season pass for the new shinny toys that will only be good for a couple of months. Every class points their finger at the others claiming they never get nerfs and are stronger and unbalanced compared to theirs, in truth, we are all in the same boat.

Why would anyone want Well to be bad for their fireteam? That is a bit loony. I’ll never understand why anyone would request PVE nerfs.

Yeah, because no other classes ever get nerfs to their abilities 🙄. On that same note, not only have all three ability/exotics you mentioned for Warlock been neutered (and we got over it), but the ability is a super. Maybe if Lorely had given restoration x2 to your super or something similar your comparison would make sense. Instead, you are comparing the most powerful ability in a solar Warlocks kit (unless they’re running Dawnblade-jk that got rolled almost nobody wants to touch that) to a free sunspot that only requires a charge of an ability that recharges several times faster than any super.

Is there a reason to even run lorelys anymore? It just eats your barricade when your low now and that’s it right? I still had 0 problem face tanking everything 10 under light in master NFs with hammers. Just put on well of life and your functionally immortal in anything as long as your not locked notably under light like in GMs or contest.
