Allow us to trade drops with players that we completed an activity with for 1 hour like the division does 🤙
Couldn't tell you how many raid exotics I could give people or god rolls that will be sharded because I already have the roll I want lol
English
-
No that's cringe
-
Why? 🤔 I don't need anymore shards I have thousands upon thousands of them 👍 Never hurts to help out your friend either 🤙
-
Because raid exotics and loot are meant to be rare, not as handouts to other players. Why should someone run a raid tens or hundreds of times for an exotic when it can just be given to them? Why do anything in the game when you can just get a god roll from someone who hoards them? Defeats the purpose of a looter shooter
-
Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 8/12/2022 5:08:55 PMThey'd still be rare, it's not like people get raid exotics every run. I've had 2 vex's drop in like 70ish clears, the 2nd one could've went to someone on clear 100 with no drop 🤙 You clearly didn't read my post, where did I say you could trade freely anything and everything that's hoarded in your vault? I didn't. I said like the division you would have 1 hour to trade whatever drops you wanted, from the activity you cleared, with the people you cleared the activity 👍
-
Look where that got the division, in the grave. You can yoink raid exotics from collections which makes it flawed to a point where it hurts more people than it helps
-
Loot didn't get the division in the grave 👍 their loot system was far superior. Lack of end game got division in the grave, which is why I quit playing. Again read my post, what you are saying wouldn't work 👍🤙 It would actually help circumvent people having to run a raid 100 times for a single exotic. 👍
-
And it would demotivate players from clearing an activity for an exotic. 99% of people that complain about that many runs are cp farmers to begin with
-
It really wouldn't, the current system of doing nothing and running a raid 100 times for an exotic is already pretty demotivating. Took me ~100 clears to get anarchy, can't say that was a ton of fun, 10/10 game play 🙄 was hot garbage. Less people would quit raiding out of frustration with drops if people who got their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th drop of the exotic could just give it to them 👍 You must be a very fortunate raider with your exotic drops 🤙 the only one I got relatively early was tarabah and that was like run 20
-
There you go you literally just said your intent with trading. Not to trade but to be given stuff for free
-
Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 8/12/2022 5:44:42 PMWhere did I say that? I didn't. You'd have to complete the raid with the individual who got their 2nd vex. If you didn't, they can't drop it for you 🤙 In division you literally just drop on the ground whatever you don't want for people if you feel like doing so. It's pretty great
-
That's the textbook definition of giving something to someone for free, you also said yourself that less people would quit out of frustration with drops if people who got it on their 2nd-5th "drop" could just give it to them
-
You invested time in the raid did you not? By your standards literally everything is free in destiny already so it shouldn't be an issue for you 👍😂 Yes, less people would quit out of frustration if you could drop your 2nd drop of vex to a person you completed the raid with when you got that 2nd drop 👍🤙 I'm unsure how many times I have to type the same thing before it clicks for you, I'm not talking about pulling stuff from your vault or collections 🤣😂
-
And how would the game be able to detect the difference between it being pulled from collections or dropped from the raid itself?
-
Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 8/12/2022 6:15:01 PM🙄 the same way the division does. Puts an in game timer of 1 hour on that specific exotic you got as a drop. Heck division even says on the item who you completed the activity with on the drop since they are the only people you can drop the drop to 👍 You could pull 100 items from your collections and it wouldn't have the timer or the other players names because you didn't get it as an in game drop with them 👍🤙 Like I've said, far superior loot system 🤙
-
It’s better system, sure. It was designed to operate that way. Destiny items have a cap to their data and their code is so bad they have trouble doing basic qol testing. I doubt they could implement this. Would be nice.
-
Lol prolly not but there is always destiny 3. Hopefully they don't use the same engine that was designed for PS3 😂
-
They aren’t making a 3. That was the point of the dcv, to recycle content instead of making a new game. So yeah, that’s why I don’t bother with much in this game. They are just milking it. And dude that code was made for Xbox 1 lol
-
You never know, the plan for destiny 2 ends in like 2 years
-
Yeah, Post Dark and Light. The new lead dev talked about it. That timeframe was included in the dcvs purpose. I would like to see a 3 with newer code but I think they want us to segue into their new game so they can drop Destiny altogether.
-
Edited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 8/13/2022 11:41:46 PMProbably but their new game is a hard pass for me. If I want to play a competitive PvP focused game I'll play something like siege.
-
Yeah I’m passing on it on general principle.
