I gotta ask why is it acceptable for DMT to not 2 tap after landing precision hits, yet pulses can just 2 tap naturally with no setup at all.
Then it's ohh it wouldn't be fair if it could 3 tap all resil at 180rpm after landing 5 precision hits. Yet 180hcs can 3 tap after a kill or by simply procing radiant.
This double standard of DMT should have nothing while other guns have what's being taken from DMT and that's accepted as fine is silly.
People don't just come out n say it but lets be honest for once. These complaints aren't about the gun itself. It's input based. Controller players hate that for once a cool weapon functions better on mnk. They expected it to be a ranged last word and it wasn't. So it was complain complain complain, even though Lorentz n last word received way smaller nerfs and have been bigger outliers.

As console player, using DMT has been the most fun I’ve ever had. The hip firing aspect of it is kinda useful, but the damage buff really counters all of the healing and overshield BS. It makes no sense that for just a single kill and free radiance from solar 3.0, I can get 2 taps on Ace of Spades; but, I can’t 2 tap after consistently landing headshot after headshot on at least 2 guardians.

They'll probably buff it eventually, if they don't just increase damage without telling anyone (wouldn't be the first time they changed weapons without telling us). Its PVP usage is definitely going down, and if that damage reduction isn't exclusive to PVE, the only people hip firing it will be mnk users and people with a buff.

Those controller players are dying to mnk players on pc and via crossplay. They then equip it to try n say omgg it doesn't auto aim like last word n they throw fit's on the forums. Really not hard to grasp here.

The hip fire is trash on controller. It's very obvious they don't want mnk using something they can't. Yet again not hard to follow.

Because the usage is far higher on PC, irrespective of input. It was there it was a problem, according to them.

As i said majority on pc are on controller. The pc players also run into console players via cross play in pvp. How do you know it's mnk players complaining and not the controller players? Have you stopped to check every complaint to see if a steam account is attached to their Bungie account then magically confirm they are on mnk as well? Logically it makes more sense the people the gun doesn't work well for and are on the receiving end of it would be complaining. Kind of like how it's clearly mnk complaining about last word the vast majority of the time. This isn't hard to comprehend.
