can we get xur to sell the oldest trials armor, the exile set
yeah, there's no drop source and the robes/cloaks looked good.
can't even use them as ornaments

Maybe make it so that Saint can focus trials engrams into the old set. So it’s still locked to trials but a choice to try to get the old set.

2 RepliesEdited by Huginn: 6/12/2022 11:24:56 AMI requested that Bungie release the old levitation raid shader - the one you got from the first encounter - because for some reason, the game didn't unlock it for me ... even though I beat it multiple times and I got so much hate for that post. A vast majority of Destiny players are bullies and love to gatekeep, and so does Bungie ... I mean, they even made a Trials emblem, specifically for gatekeeping.

12 RepliesYeah well suck it up and get over it. I missed the Mantle of Efrideeth ornament for hunters at the time and it's the best looking cape in the game no arguement about it. If they brought it back it wouldn't be special as F anymore. Even though I don't have it. If they bring anything back they will have to bring it all back in all fairness. Not just the things you and others specifically ask/demand for Just my two cents. It'll degenerate this game even further. Just let it be something you missed. If you can't accept that, you're going to have to accept having all ornaments available at all time. Which will devalue the game because it relies so heavily on getting something seasonal/from an event that you can't obtain anymore afterwards And deep down you knew all of this already. We all do. But we still ask, like little 3rd grade children in front of the teachers candybowl

I think something we just have to accept is that there’s only so many sunset armor sets, and eventually bungie is either gonna have to repeat old armor sets or bring back some older trials/iron banner sets.

I have been hoping Xur would sell the old armor set. I mean it makes sense if he’s selling armor sets that were supposed to be sunsetted. I had a good idea in my head where older weapons and armor could be put into the loot pool for trials engrams, maybe not as adept in terms of weapons. But at least to where players can get their hands on something that hasn’t been available for a long time if they’re new lights. I missed out on the mark and chest plate for titan, and I honestly regret not playing enough to get my hands on the two. This is irrelevant but I had also proposed Xur sell old seasonal armor ornaments from like season of dawn or undying. But of course have it cost a certain amount of money or bring it to Eververse for silver for those who did not play during those seasons. I mean these are some Bad A$$ armor sets that a lot of people missed out on if they’re new lights or just returning players. I mean halo has even offered it to where you can still work on an older season or buy an older season pass to get the loot from that past season. So why can’t Bungie do this? At least it would bring them more money which I’m sure they’d be all in for.

Edited by PerverseWolf: 6/11/2022 8:52:31 PMShame Bungie didn't remove all the world and PvP loot out of Trials and then shovel the not in rotation gear into it's place as the random loot rewards, they'd only be available through drops however you wouldn't get the option to focus them or obtain from the trials engrams. world loot and non trials gear shouldn't be available in the trials playlist and the same should be said for Iron banner. They're named modes with themed sets so only gear that belong to them should exist in their respective drop pools. Of course there is an exception the adept gear should remain as the flawless reward but each season the adepts rotate in and out as they do now.
