The Completion of the strike itself awards a silver medal. The platinum tier achieve is a scoring notification, this impacts quests such as [i]Shoot to Score[/i] and triumphs.

Or, is what you're saying is that platinum ONLY applies to those triumph?

Well, I only got the silver. The platinum was never awarded so is this a bug? We definitely crossed platinum as a team

Silver is the max medal you can get from the completion. Score is used for quests and triumphs. For example, the quest, Shoot to Score, has a goal of achieving a platinum scoring run. Normal activity completions can award bronze and silver medals. Gold and Platinum medals only come from the completion of a contender card.
