PC: Destiny 2 Crashing After Witch Queen Purchase - No Error Codes

I recently got into Destiny 2 with the drop of the Witch Queen DLC. I play on PC through the Windows Store/Xbox app, not Steam because I have Game Pass Ultimate. I purchased the Witch Queen (standard edition) on the Xbox app and since downloading the update, I am no longer able to run Destiny 2. I launch the game and see the processes kick off in the background, then move to my user's processes and the game's black and gray triangle splash screen starts. The triangle freezes and the game exist to Desktop without any error code. This persists after multiple reinstallations of Destiny 2 on two different hard drives on my PC. If I launch the game as Admin and specify the "-dx11" flag to force it to use DirectX11 I receive the "MARMOT" error code. This is the only instance in which I receive an error code and am unsure if it is related or if DX11 is unsupported at this time. I also captured a ProcMon trace and did not find any entries out of the ordinary around or after the time of the crash. I have not had issues with any other games crashing which leads me to believe it isn't an issue with a prereq but it is possible. My suspicion is that there is an issue with the download source via the Microsoft Store/Xbox app. I'm installing the base game via Steam to rule out prereq/dependency compatibility issues. I'd appreciate any direction anyone can provide, otherwise I'll have to pursue some sort of refund request with Microsoft. Below are a list of troubleshooting steps I have tried: Reinstalled game. Reinstalled game to a different HDD. Verified Game Files. Updated Nvidia drivers. Checked for game updates. Installed Windows Updates. Repaired .NET. Repaired C++ redistributables. Changed install directory permissions to Full Controll. Ran as Admin. Ran in Comparability Mode. Ran with DirectX 11 flag (gave MARMOT error indicating missing or corrupted files). Captured ProcMon of failure and combed through looking for permissions or files causing issues. Hardware: GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 CPU: Intel i7 6700 RAM: 16GB DDR4 Edit: Additional troubleshooting steps I forgot to add, Disabled overlays for streaming software and Nvidia GeForce Experience

I'm having the same issue. I recently got a Game Pass Ultimate subscription and got the game to play with my friends trough crossplay. Since today the game simply just doesn't open anymore. I've done lots of troubleshooting guides, but I think we are having the same issue. I thought it was something with the Xbox app, and just tested another games that I play, and they opened with no issues. Just reinstalled No Man's Sky, and everything worked fine, just to be sure. What I've done: Reinstalled game. Verified Game Files. Updated Nvidia drivers. Checked for game updates. Installed Windows Updates. Repaired .NET. Changed install directory permissions to Full Controll. Ran as Admin and in Compatibility Mode I recentely got a new laptop, and the game was running super smoothly. Ryzen 5800H / RTX3050ti /32gb RAM / NVME storage. Edit: correcting erros, sry english its not my main language
