Seriously Bungie? A 1330 boss in a 1310 dungeon?

You say a dungeon is 1310, I go in at 1311, I get one shot on my sparrow because the enemies in that area are 1320s! So I level to 1325. Then I get to the boss who is 1330, shouldnt be much of an issue, no? Oh wait! The shank one hits me when I have sniper damage mitigation on my armor! In A WELL OF RADIANCE?! You say something is a certain level, THE ENEMIES SHOULD BE THAT LEVEL.

  • If you know game design so well, why not make your destiny killer? I'd love to play it.... None of the current Destiny killers do it for me.

  • If you were using the armor currently equipped to your Warlock for the run in question, I would suggest you increase your Resilience score as it appears to only be at 40, as well as your overall Light Level as both will go some ways to improving your survivability. I was able to complete a solo flawless run of GoA earlier today running Well of Radiance with the following loadout: [b]WEAPONS[/b] • Rat King (w/ Catalyst) • Null Composure (FeedingFrenzy, ReservoirBurst, MajorSpec) • Threaded Needle (ClownCartridge, VorpalWeapon, BossSpec) [b]ARMOR[/b] • Helm: RecoveryMod, FusionRifleAmmoFinder, RadiantLight • Arms ([i]Necrotic Grip[/i]): RecoveryMod, UnstoppableSidearm, Fastball, PowerfulFriends • Chest: RecoveryMod, ConcussiveDampener, MeleeDamageResistance, TakingCharge • Legs: MobilityMod, Invigoration(x2), QuickCharge • ClassItem: MobilityMod, ParticleDeconstruction [b]STATS[/b] Mobility 74 Resilience 70 Recovery 84 Discipline 57 Intellect 53 Strength 68 LightLevel 1355 — Granted it may not be your goal to solo the Dungeon and you may not have access to the Exotics and/or mods listed, but going in with a loadout crafted more carefully toward higher level content will certainly help to make this style of content less frustrating in general.   • If you're getting one shot on a sparrow, time to get a new sparrow, or higher resilience

  • The game always goes up light per encounter, even heroic me-blam!- went up to 770 I believe? And max light was 750

  • They’ve been doing that since D1 y1 vog. D1 y1 Atheon was I believe 33 and recommended level was 30 so it’s always been like that

  • It always has been like that in every year in Destiny, it always showed 1st encounter light level

    • Kings fall worked like this as well. Raid was 290 on normal and the final encounter was 310 if i remember correctly. Hard was 310 and final boss was 320. The final boss is always higher power than the recommended power level. Actually Pit of Heresy when it first released in shadowkeep was 940 and the final boss Zulmak was 960. GOA's final boss power spike is nothing new.

    • Crota was level 33 ,and the highest light was 32 ,having a level 31 swordbearer was intense I think Bungie has tried to preserve that feeling in endgame content through the years
