I just went to complete it since it's one of two that I need and it didn't pop for me either. No idea how quickly I did it though, will time it on my second character I guess. This one is laughably easy to speed run - so frustrating.

You can try many times just have to go to orbit come back and new ascendant buff

I ended up completing this. Had it bug out and I died right as I killed the final boss. Went back in and instead of the things that push you off it was the proximity things and it ended up giving me the triumph after killing the boss the second time. So strange.
