I was wondering if i just start blocking all the tryhards that plague the pvp i will eventually be left with players on both teams that are about same level as i am.
and all the sweats will have no choice but to match with players of their own level
Which technically would equalize pvp matching

1 ReplyEdited by Smough: 1/18/2022 6:27:43 AMLittle did you know that casual players are carried by tryhards while the average enemy team stomps on them. Look at any game and usually the best player is put on a team with the worst players. That’s why stacks are so good, because having 6 good players on a team instead of 1 good player and 5 bad players is a huge difference given how the matchmaking system works.

Nah doesn’t effect gameplay only comms and profile protection.

1 ReplyI’m just a ducking gurdian and I got a big ash head I’m always crying… I’m Caillou, I cry every ducking day when I don’t get my way, would you like to play cuz I’m Caillou
-
I'd say your best bet is to lfg
-
It is very simple. Bungie needs cannon-fodder for their streaming/youtube marketing partners to abuse, so new customers are channeled into PVP. Bungie hates their customers, prove me wrong.
-
Doesn't matter how many people you block, there's always a bigger fish in the sea.

Edited by pValue2010: 1/17/2022 6:29:35 PMWhat if they try hard but are still really bad? What if they’re just really good, and are doing well despite not trying all that hard? IOW, how do you distinguish a bad try hard from a good player who’s trying soft?
-
2 RepliesDoesn't work that way.. Also you can't blame sweats or better players all the time for you loosing. You should be looking at yourself and your own skill as to why your loosing. If you actually put in the time and look at what mistakes or what you need to improve in and practice them then eventually you'll get better. And please don't be saying "how can I get better against stacked or sweaty players" Because the way you get better is by playing better players, not just beating inexperienced or weaker players.

Edited by CloryxBleach: 1/17/2022 6:09:36 PMFunny how much some people hate that there are people who are better than them at PvP. "If they're better than me I block them!"

It blocks who can send you messages and requests

1 ReplyI’ve had games where all of my teammates had a negative efficiency. At that point it’s a matchmaking problem where the best player in the lobby is expected to carry zombies.
-
3 RepliesEdited by DUNNY1981: 1/16/2022 7:36:24 AMI just flat out refuse to play pvp now and my destiny experience has gotten a lot better.
-
There will always be someone better then you But this technically would work if the game worked like that
-
3 RepliesAdapt and improve and you won’t have to worry about who you match against
-
3 RepliesNo. Bungie has to step up and fix this.
-
2 RepliesYou know what would be easier - if you stopped drowning yourself on the things you can't control, pointing fingers, and complaining about try hards, and instead focus on what you can control - such as improving, playing and learning from teammates. That's the foundation of elevating yourself. Playing similar skilled people makes you stagnant.
-
1 ReplyWell then is there any way to stop getting matched with sweats? its not even fun to play when you can barely get in a kill I dont understand why bungie cant just separate players in 2 groups either above or below certain kd ratio
-
2 RepliesBlocking players just prevents communication, you will still matchmake with them.
-
4 RepliesThat’s not a thing because it would be abused. People would just block better players.
-
Good luck with that. Will there be anyone left for you to play?
-
3 RepliesEdited by DOGE: 1/16/2022 3:07:14 AMWhy? alot of casual and new players would appreciate not having to deal with tryhards. If bungie refuses to fix pvp then we can at least attempt to do it ourselves. most of casual and new players are afraid to play pvp because sweats make it impossible to win I was trying to play crucible today snd matching does suck -blam!- we either slaughter other team or get slaughtered by other team it is not fun to play either way there is no challenge maybe one out of 10 matches is fairly matched teams There will be more engagement if people are separated by their k/d ratio I was going to block only people who have above 2.5 or 3 kd ratio not just everyone that i dont like
-
Why would you do that? Doesn’t work like that. If you want I play to equal skill levels try comp or elim mane
-
6 Replies1. What is a tryhard? Someone with a 1.6 or above? Because that is like 30% of the entire community. 2. No. Blocking players only blocks communication, not matchmaking. Otherwise this would be abused.

You going to get hate.
