Been trying to get back into D2, and reinstalled it last week. Had a few days of playing with no issues, and now the game crashes frequently to the "Problem Reading Game Files" error. Upon validating the files, steam will return the message "2194 files failed to validate and will be reacquired" even though I literally just reinstalled it. I then try to Reinstall those files, and steam gives me a "disk write error." It seems that restarting my pc allows steam to recognize D2 as if it were never gone, but launching it and playing for a bit restarts the cycle. There are times where I can either play a strike or two, or other times where the game crashes from the title screen. Things I have tried: - Updating graphics drivers - Clearing download cache - Full reinstall of D2 Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
