Will titans & warlocks ever get similar pvp movement capabilities to hunters?

Speaking from a console point of view. If not then I doubt there will ever be even footing in pvp (a game mode where being mobile is a huge advantage) For people who complain about Icarus dash Being so good see below. Icarus dash = A horizontal dash able to be executed twice in a row with a 6 second cool down. Double / triple jump = a vertical dash able to be executed two or three times with no cool down. Warlock rift and titan wall. Locked in place to gain benefits. (Not ideal in a pvp game mode where mobility is key) Slow execution. Dodge. Shortest cool down of all abilities. Breaks aim assist. Breaks tracking......because why? Reloads weapons. Executed instantly. I'm not saying I want all classes to be the same but what I am saying is unless warlocks and titans get these things addressed in some way (I don't know what that could be) then hunters will always be the go to for pvp as they have been for destiny's entire history. In conjunction with that I think it'd be totally called for that hunters get some PvE focus stuff at the same time.

      ...did this guy just compare Icarus Dash to a jump? Man Icarus Dash let's you close or widen the gap [i]at the fastest speed possible in the game with no set up[/i]. [i]It can outrun every non-Dawnblade super[/i]. How is that comparable to a jump? At all? Especially triple jump? Almost all the best Hunters use strafe or high jump anyways, so I'm not even sure that you have a good understanding of the benefits each movement ability provide in this game. There's a reason why top tree Dawn has been the number one class for months.

        why is it that all you do is complain when many people have tried to make it as clear to you as possible that you are biased and are not willing to play to the strengths of your class

          • Dodge has a 2 second faster cooldown than barricade...which is the best class ability....because it allows for revives and free power. Also...icarus dash is on a 5 second cooldown for 2...dodge is on a 12 second cooldown for 1. Also...hunter jump is slower than warlock and titan jump in speed. And movement doesnt really matter in an ability spam simulator...which favors locks and titans.

          • 🤔 icarus dash with transversive, stasis titan slide with dunemarchers. Yeah they have no movement. Honestly I can do just fine with all classes, they have great movement and can compete with each other very well.

Hunter has a dodge that make them harder to hit. [spoiler]bungie plz do something about 6 shooter GG it should 1 shot imo[/spoiler]

            • Dude... Just play the game... If you like hunters so much, main 1 for a season and see how bad they actually are... If you find it to be amazing then main it... Don't cry on forums because you chose a class that you dislike. Destiny 2 doesn't force you to use a character, that was purely your choice!

            • Hunter dodge should not break any form of tracking, it literally makes playing warlock a nightmare. Apart from that, I think warlocks and titans do need buffs to their execution. Placing a rift or wall takes forever! That made sense in vanilla of D2 when the pace of the game was slow, thats no longer the case. Warlock blink which is supposed to be another form of mobility doesn’t actually blink players, the game stretches the hitbox which means you can see yourself in one spot after blink but if the enemy shoots at the point where you first activated blink, you will still take full damage. Whoever at bungie thought this was a good idea literally killed blink in this game compared to how it used to work in D2. Icarus dash is mostly fine, I feel we should only get one dash over 2 with a cooldown of 2.5 instead of 5 seconds. Titans I feel all need a buff to their slides, we cant grant titans air dodge or regular dodge as that would make taking down the beefiest class in the game a problem. Increasing slide distance and speed though? Now thats a scary tank, shoulder charge would even be a viable melee again. Hunters definitely need a nerf to breaking tracking and aim assist. You don’t see warlocks becoming immune to damage or breaking aim assist when placing rifts. Before anyone says this would make hunters garbage, stop, no it wont. You don’t see icarus dash breaking aim assist or breaking tracking and its still good. As for a buff for the pve side of things? Im down for a hunter buff. Or just allow them to break tracking and stuff only on pve I guess.

              • Warlocks and titans can skate from point A to Point B a whole lot faster than hunters. That's the trade off.

                • I always compared Icarus Dash to Hunter dodge since Icarus Dash is technically an air dash/dodge. And lime you said, Icarus Dash has a 6 second cool down when you use it twice in a row. I don’t remember how long the cool down for a maximum mobility Hunter dodge is, but I think before it got nerfed it was something like 9 seconds for one dodge with a 100 mobility stat.

                • Why? Warlocks float and throw magic, Titans punch and… do whatever else Titans do. Hunters run and jump. At least give us that. I mean damn.

                    Well I mean while this is true hunters are also effectively banned from pve recently even some lfg posts are no hunters since their supers are terrible for non-pvp. With existence of stuff that can’t be crit or unreasonably crit you end up having no real benefits with its supers aside from nighthawk which like with atraks encounter can’t really be made use of when you could just pop a nova bomb with warlock no exotic and get more out of it because you can still use sword. Even for GM’s thunder crash or stasis super warlock are far superior for survival/high burst damage. Hunters are just good in pvp so I guess they get something at expense of other.

                    • Okay we give you that. But give hunters your strong nades and melees please XD. Id give you the ability to dodge in exchange of your cheese top tree dawnblade melee and solar nade XD. And also give hunters usefull supers in pve that cant be replaced with a nade and/or an artifact while we're at it x)

                      • Respectfully I think that the point of each class is to have a specific advantage regardless of activity mode. IMO this is why there is such a high number of Hunters in PvP (at least it seems that way to me). While I am a Warlock main, I prefer my Hunter for PvP (although I still suck at it).
