It’s considered end game content
Other than trials, it’s the only pvp where light level is enabled

Really? Are Seasonal Events “End Game Content” too? So, your message is “don’t play Iron Banner unless you are max light level”?!? Whatever.

That’s not my point at all. OP was level 1270 at the time. I was just letting him know that it’s light level enabled and that is most likely why it was such a bad experience (let’s face it, nobody really enjoys IB anyway) Everyone should feel free to play IB. It’s a great way to get pinnacles, just know what you’re going up against

True but why can't end game be fun? Wouldn't alternating SBMM & CBMM be fun for everyone? Skilled PvP players would get a 6v6 trials then a more relaxed one. Casuals hardcore then fun.

The issue is not skill, it’s your light level. Pretty much any player at 1320 will 1 shot you

Ahhhh. I'd taken 1100 heavy & kinetic. Then only used my 1315 Energy weapon. Thinking it would only effect those areas. Just to get those bounties done. Does it instead work on the average light level?

Yes, I think it’s your average light. Not sure Equip your highest level gear and see if it’s the same experience. Iron banner is definitely sweaty though, I think sbmm has been in there for at least 3-4 months now Try the freelance queue, and if that doesn’t work, just 6 stack - it’s easy mode. I go from averaging a 2kda to a 5-6 kda when stacking
