Please Help…

Ever since the launch of the new season (Season of the Splicer) I have been overwhelmed with Baboon error codes every. Single. Time. I play. I am on Playstation 5 and I have done EVERYTHING that it’s said online and in YouTube videos, I’ve reinstalled multiple times, I even bought a brand new console (Xbox Series) and installed Destiny on there and SAME FREAKIN PROBLEM!! Destiny is thee only game I seem to be having issues with connection on. Across my PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch & Playstation 4 I have No issues whatsoever with connection and that includes 2 TVs that have internet. Both consoles (PS5, Xbox) are on wired connections so that is not the problem. I have been having this issue since the season started and maybe a little before hand. It’s happened so many times I have lost count when it started. This is thee worst error to get as it not only loses connection to the game but when the gameplay resumes you are spawned back in but with NO SPECIAL or POWER ammo even if you just had a full clip. And what’s worse is for some freakin reason not only do you lose ammo, but for the rest of the game / match / session you are not able to get special / power ammo as it just does not drop. Plus if you had full super right before the disconnect you lose the super. Same goes for any chest your about to open. I have lost countless loot chests either in Override, Strikes, Nightfalls, or Legend Lost Sectors (this is the worst as it happens right before I open the chest so it makes the time I just put in completely wasted) It’s even made a few of my bounties either reset, stop tracking or glitch to where I can’t complete them so I have to delete and reacquire it. Due to this issue I have NOT been able to play any endgame activity like Trials, or even experience the new Raid for endgame content / armor & weapons and that dang Vex Mythoclast. What makes it worse is I am always working so when I play I want to play, plus I make a good amount of money and Destiny is my favorite game so I tend to spend money a lot in the eververse store so this error making me not able to play really sucks as I can’t experience anything I’ve payed for. Please give me some help so I can get back to playing the game. Across all platforms D2 is thee most played game for me so Baboon is crushing my soul.

  • Baboon has been affecting me and a whole lot of other players aswell. No matter what you try nothing will fix it until bungie gets off their ass and fix it on their end. What ever they did at the start of season of the splicer screwed something up. I just wished they would post something about any info about this.

  • OK... The PS5 is having issues but that is the Beagle error code. That is the one where people are having to re-install the game. Bungie has said a temp fix is moving the game between the system's hard drive and a external and back again (a lot quicker than a full re-install). Also there was issues in the last couple of days affecting players in the EU. You said you have this problem on two different platforms and since the beginning of the season. So why have you not looked into your Internet to see if that is the problem. Have you... Run a full Internet diagnostic looking for issues. Done a search on Bungie.net or the Destiny app for that error code to bring up a help guide. Reset your router and then cleared your system's cache to refresh your Internet connection. More so after a load of downloads (as in setting up a new console and downloading the games and updates).
