We’ve been playing with the same old light classes for 2-3 years and I think changing the branch system that we currently have to what the stasis subclasses have would give a new sense of customization and variety between players.
-
Its like people didn't even listen to what they said launching stasis. That was the plan the whole time.
-
When does witch queen drop? That’s when they will sell light 2.0 to us according to the many vex simulations I’ve ran
-
You mean kitbash subclasses. I'm game.

Ironic.

Yes, I'd love to see more aspects and fragments expanded to the sub light classes as well. But I don't wanna see the aspect and fragment grinds that go along with that. Imagine having to grind aspects for every subclass on all three guardians.

Going to downvote. Stasis certainly needs to be brought down especially in PvP. Also equally certainly Light classes need some small buffs to regain some balance. But as far as the seemingly endless fragments, aspects, abilities it's got ridiculous. It's far too convoluted and cluttered in Stasis. If that is multiplied by 4, and even more if we get further subclasses like Corruption, it's going to be far too many to be enjoyable. It's made worse when there's no saved loadouts options for all your weapons, armour, mods, and fragments/aspects. I think that will appeal to nerdier, anally retentive types, which is fine, but will be overly faffy and unnecessarily complex for a great many others.
-
Bungie said they were going to make it a thing, just not any time soon. I feel they really should make this a priority, they need to stop making stasis aspects and focus on overhauling the light subclasses.
-
I was hoping to see this actually happen for S14 I have zero faith anything cool like this will Their to lazy

Wasn't it already confirmed that light subclasses would be reworked? -
Speaking of stasis it’s crazy how good the subclass supers are an we haven’t even gotten another version of stasis supers like how our light subclasses have three versions each. The fragments an aspects just makes things better plus the grenades are top tier can’t wait to see what happens with our light grenade types.
-
Honestly if they gave all elements a true identity (Stasis controls via freeze/slow) and reworked them to be as customizable as Stasis is...there might be a lot less to complain about. Base Stasis abilities in pvp should all have the Warlock freeze duration of 1-1.5 seconds though. Supers are fine being longer because you don't get them that often, but grenades and melee are not.
-
Ooooo yeah give the light subclasses the stasis treatment.
-
lame idea
-
Awesome, they will sell this as content and make you grind a year to unlock it all
-
This would be kinda cool, but Bungie would end up nerfing and change to much. Basically Bungie it...
-
Pls bungie, bring back the subclass system of D1, that was much better
-
We might be jumping the gun. I have a feeling those changes are in the plans. They don't want to leave us with one super customizable class and three generic ones. I'm almost certain they are working on it. Of course, something like that takes a LOT of time and work, so I expect it to come, but probably not for a while.
-
Merge all the individual elements into a single class for each and let you pick the combinations you want. Sunspot throwing hammers? Go for it. Frontal assault thundercrash? Why not Void detonator plus bubble? Whatever floats your boat.
-
Agreed some subclasses have great melees but the rest of the aspects are crap. Would be nice to be able to pick and choose our melee, aspects, and type of super. Gives players more flexibility and would allow for more builds.
-
Yes. Don't really care when they add new Shadebinder abilities. I want new abilities for the Voidwalker, Stormcaller and Dawnblade.
-
As long as they dont delete any of the existing perks, Im down
-
Maybe they're working on this. I might be remembering this wrong, but I recall Luke Smith mentioning something along the lines of doing this, but it would cause us to lose certain pieces of the subclass.
-
Be careful for what you wish for. Yes they may eventually do that which I believe they’ve mentioned they’d”like to do this for them all” but… BUT they may very well make us regrind all the stuff we unlocked years ago. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is bungie we’re talking about here.
-
They stated they will with future seasons, they would have released it sooner but they still had some kinks to work out.
-
I just want it like it was un D1
