What's valid is not that I don't like rng, what's valid is that the system is bad and feels unrewarding for the most difficult pve activity in the game and 9 out of 10 people, including those that do not do grandmasters (so there goes your argument that I only want it changed to make it easier for me to farm) will agree with me. When grandmasters only gave endgame mats people still didn't care, so your precious "but they give endgame mats" argument doesn't hold water either.

When the argument was made that running a GM should not result in getting nothing at all as a reward, that was fair. You are now asking them to make everything guaranteed. On an activity that can be completed in 20 minutes or less this season, and in less than 10 in some seasons. I’m with that as soon as they make the perk pool double in size. The system you are proposing will not work because you as a player cannot see the system; you just see what you want and are upset that you aren’t getting it faster.

Friends I talk to that play destiny, but not grandmasters have all said that they think adepts should be guaranteed. I'm not lazy for wanting a worthwhile reward. I just want an actual reward I can use because I have the rolls of exotics I want and enough ascendant shards to last a season or two, so those are not good rewards. You seriously used a once a month event to justify adepts not being guaranteed from platinum runs and said I complain too much when I pointed out that you shouldn't decide the base drops based on a once a month double loot event that only includes two of the three weapons. If your argument had even a single leg to stand on, I cut it clean off and you're arguing a dead point with nothing but stubbornness.

You polled the cesspool of whiners and complainers that comprise the majority of this place. Nowhere near the “majority” of players. Your friends who don’t play GMs have poor credibility when it comes to that because they don’t play. To them, it’s difficult. To people that really do GMs constantly, not so much. Again, there are nightfalls you can do sub 10 minutes. The hardest difficulty in the game, 10 minutes or less. My argument wasn’t that because of double drops that it’s fine. Has nothing to do with that; just another option.
