Restrict players that don't have champion mods equipped from joining activities that require them.
Today I watched the other 2 fireteam members try to take down a barrier champion in Battlegrounds. All they did was die repeatedly.
Yesterday and the day before, I seen a player leave Battlegrounds on 2 separate occasions, both were getting stomped on by Unstoppables.
As funny as it is to watch, it's also really frustrating. Especially since it basically forces others to build their loadout around other players playstyle instead of our own.
So now what I have to do is inspect whoever's loading in with me to see if they have their mods equipped. If they do, let's rock. If not, then I'm gone.
And before anyone says anything. Yes, I do play with clan mates, but not always as they're not always on or they're playing something else.
And no, I don't do LFGs, simply because of how blatantly toxic many of them are.
I shit you not, I seen an LFG recently that was titled Kill all N******. (I can prove it, just don't want to post it publicly because WOW.)
AND PEOPLE JOINED IT!!
So yeah, there's that too.

I always run both champ mods but sometimes I sit and laugh while they die because they didn't put on any mods. If they have at least one I do my part though. After a minute or two I'll go and mow it down lol

Tbh battlegrounds are low enough level that it doesn’t matter about 99% of the time.

Wtf were you guys shooting them with? Champions in battle grounds are a joke and easily delt with with out mods.

You should find a team if you don't like to play with randoms. When you choose to play with randoms, you get what you get.

This guy sounds fun. A real asset to the community and I bet he’s an expert at the game; always there dispensing unnecessary advice and getting exasperated at those pesky other players who are not up to his high standards. p.s. I do hate those knob jockeys who insist on jumping the train during this weeks NF but they trend to be the high level end-game experts like the OP...

Theres no need for those mods in BG. Those champions are barely champions and by Grandmaster comparison are Dregs. If your teammates help shoot them, they go down without issue.

Simple Always run all the champion mods needed if you are playing with randoms. That's what I do. Does that limit your potential loadout? Sure...but it's better than watching an Unstoppable rush you down when no one can stagger it.
