Linking and Authenticating Accounts

I've just made the switch from console to pc, and as such, I would like to play Destiny 2. However, before playing on my Xbox One, I played Destiny 2 on my PlayStation 4. It's been quite some time since I've used the PlayStation, and have since forgotten my login details. I'm trying to authenticate my accounts so that I can bring my Xbox collectibles across with me, but it won't let me do that without authenticating my PlayStation account - which I cannot do. Is there any way around this? I don't exactly mind starting over again, but I've put a lot of time and money into my Xbox account and since the option is available to link that account to my pc account, I would ideally like to do that. Thank you in advance!

In order to activate cross-save, you will need to be able to authenticate all linked accounts, regardless whether all accounts are part of cross-save setup itself. You would need to be contact with PlayStation support and try and retrieve the login credentials for your PSN account. If you are unable to authenticate the PSN account, your next and last option would be to create a new Bungie profile and link your working accounts there. Note that this approach will cause you to lose any promotional emblems redeemed, as they are tied to the Bungie profile and not the platform accounts.
