Thanks to everyone who commented on my ‘The Corrupted’ thread so, here is the chance to vote!. Let’s see who wins...or is that loses?...
I have simply picked the three most commonly mentioned strikes from that thread so apologies if yours is not listed.

1 ReplyThe one in d1 where the immune oger chases you and you have falling shanks shooting at you. Hated that strike on arc burn.
-
1 ReplyWhere’s “the fanatic” at?
-
1 ReplyExodus crash. The boss fight bothers me. I feel trapped the middle of the circle. It limits weapon choices. Least in my opinion.
-
1 ReplyI used to like them all but then I played and ground the absolute crap out of them, and they eliminated all the variety so basically they all blow dicks now. At this point, I would have traded back the entirety of Beyond Light and Season of the Hunt for refreshed playlist activities. I couldn’t give a shit less about stasis.
-
20 RepliesAnyone who says exodus crash is a coward. Still when you leave, leaves me to have fun soloing the strike.
-
1 ReplyThe Hallowed Lair The boss room doesn't give bounty/quest progress, and since I constantly have to compete for kills, there's absolutely 0 intentive to play through it, knowing the only time I'll be able to reliably get kills is the one place where kills don't count for anything. Least favorite strike in the game. Only Savathun's Song was worse (only barely). I always dip as soon as it comes up.
-
I don't even know why Scarlet Keep is there, it's a great strike. The corrupted can burn in hell.
-
Hallowed Lair, ez. Walrider already explained why
-
Scarlet Keep is one of my favourites.
-
2 RepliesI dislike the boss fight on the Corrupted. But Exodus Crash is tiresome and borish across the breadth of the strike.
-
9 RepliesWow, why do people hate the Corrupted Strike? It’s the only one that isn’t a generic speed run strike. It actually has mechanics, a very unique boss and looks gorgeous! Oh wait, I know. The people who voted Corrupted are the ones who still don’t understand the concept of ‘pass the ball around’.
-
1 ReplyI would rank inverted spire, Arms dealer, then Scarlet Keep 1-2-3 as best
-
1 ReplyHow is the Hollowed Lair not in this poll? At least you can obliterate Sedia if you have good enough communication, while The Fanatic just laughs at you with immunity phases and ads that never seem to stop spawning and that don't count for bounties
-
1 ReplyThe Corrupted is everything bad about Bungie’s philosophy of difficulty and content designed rolled up into one really shitty experience. It looks nice. Makes nice storytelling. But it sucks as a gameplay experience.
-
Painfully long can die easily and boring
-
1 ReplyCorrupted and scarlet keep are equally awful imo
-
16 Replies
Which is Destiny’s worst strike?
Given that you did not make a distinction between Destiny and Destiny 2, I have to go with The Wretched Eye strike. To this day, I feel that this strike has the worst designed area for a boss fight between Kovik's overly accurate cannon with an unlimited amount of ammo with no cool down and an Ogre that would shame any Olympic sprinter all happening in a circle room that has little to no cover. That was (and has been) the only strike that I would abandon as soon as I loaded into it.

1 ReplyEdited by zombdestroyer: 12/27/2020 1:35:21 AMCorrupted for D2 hands down, but I’d say that Fallen SABER from D1 was far worse especially as a nightfall. That first part with the warsat was pretty much impossible without cheesing in some modifier combinations. EDIT: forgot about the Fanatic, that boss fight is not fun in any way and is one of the more tedious encounters ever put in the game
-
The Devil's Lair is pretty boring. Fight of waves of enemies. Fight spider tank. Fight boss. Boss is a normal servitor but a bit bigger. I'd take Thaviks over Sepiks any day, at least it's an somewhat interesting fight.
-
Scarlett Keep and the Corrupted are among the best Destiny's strikes, if one of them was removed because it's unpopular, then this game would deserve to die.
-
Exodus by far.
-
1 ReplyThe campaign missions turned strikes from Curse of Osiris.
-
Exodus strike specific loot is a sparrow, kinda a waste for not being a weapon imo. And that boss fight 🤢
-
Fanatic is by far the worst. Corrupted is the worst for a playlist but not by much
-
Edited by Fate: 12/27/2020 12:36:23 AMAll of them their repetitive They need surprise occurrences that shake up the mission out of nowhere Like for instance a surprise boss shows up halfway to the objective or something like that It needs to be more dynamic and unpredictable
-
Hey literally had to take Exodus Crash down for a while because it was so bad.
