Leviathans Breath Catalyst: Worst than MIDA's Catalyst
So, if you didn't know, Leviathans Breath got a Catalyst, stealthily added in without a word.
How do you get it though? Kill any Yellow Bar enemy and it will [b]eventually[/b] drop. Ran Widows Walk for... about an hour, [b]eventually[/b] it dropped from one of the Shank Nightmares. So it's not on a high drop rate.
[b]What do you need to do for it?[/b] Kill enemies with the bow, or for a boost to progress- kill bosses in Hunts for Crow with any weapon or ability... honestly just use The Lament and farm away in the Hunts, save you a whole lot of time.

If you hoped for Archers Tempo, or a faster draw time, or something to increase it's damage, maybe give it more knock back...
You are going to be upset because it gets a whole whopping grand spankin' buff of... [b]5 extra arrows in reserves.

It's already a pretty sad exotic, and the catalyst does... not help the problem it has, that being... it's slow draw time.
If you don't care for this Catalyst, skip it.
If you main the bow? ... more power to you.
If you're a collector? Just... do the Lament Hunt farm and save yourself some time. Each boss kill got me about 4-5% per kill, so... idly do it while doing hunts I guess.
Over all... I'd say... worse than MIDA's catalyst.

4 RepliesI used Leviathans at Taniks once in the DSC and I outclassed every anarchy on the team with total damage. Leviathans is absolutely nuts.

People always say that the Mida catalyst is the worst one, but what about Skyburner's Oath? Extra range on a gun with no damage falloff?

Levi is already a very solid exotic, especially with unstoppable included, I think the catalyst is pretty good, 5 rounds is a lot compared to something like colony which did the same thing

Definitely not worse. 5 arrows is a lot of extra damage dealt before getting another brick. Not amazing, but it's probably more useful than the same perk on Tractor Cannon

On void burn strike boss 1 shot melt during the Pyramidian strike. My biggest complaint was not enough ammo. Although a draw time reduction would've been a great addition... the extra ammo is appreciated

If you think about the arrows being mini rockets then 5 extra ones in your reserves is pretty decent. The exotic is already well balanced and adding anything to it would be problematic.

Dunno man, that bow is really good. Honestly out of all of the exotic bows, LB makes my rotation considerably more often than the other exotic bows.
