Meaning it will be sbmm while insuring the strongest possible connection. So only guardians that live within your region or most likes ur state or neighboring states (if your in the us). After that it’s CBMM. so if the game can not secure 11 more players around ur skill level with good connection it will quit SBMM and move to CBMM. This is the problem with peer to peer connection vs dedicated servers. True SBMM can not exist with peer to peer. Which is why destiny’s SBMM isn’t SBMM but rather lobby balancing. Which is just which teams top player can farm faster.
