No. I hate gambit as much as the next person, but its a requirement for a bunch of stuff. Stuff that is ultimately optional.
Play it, or go without. They're you're options

Why does everyone hate gambit? I honestly love it, and I haven't heard a single valid point other than "its trash"

I don't know why everyone else does, but I hate it because: I don't feel like its not punishing enough. Small blockers are next to useless, medium blockers should be the small blockers, large as medium and gigantic as large. Then the gigantic one should be a wave rather than a single target. There needs to be bigger damage reduction for not having primeval slayer buffs. There doesn't seem much point in having it as a modifier if its possible to take down a primeval in the first damage phase. I feel like invading isn't rewarding enough, if I kill all 4 in the first 5 seconds because of a super i wanna stay and get more kills. I dont like getting dragged back because the devs think it'd be unfair to the other team. I dislike how long they feel to me. Prime isnt so bad, and I'd be interested to see what they do to revamp the mode for the new expansion, but I still feel like it just takes too long to play a game. Might be that my reasons aren't popular or agreed with, but those are the reasons I dislike playing the mode. The actual concept of gambit is a solid idea and something I'd play more of if some things were addressed

Why would anybody go for 1 knight if they can summon 3 captains? The game would be decided by who gets to the bank fastest after the first wave. The small blockers are supposed to be useless. They're meant as a small bonus for something you were going to do anyways, not a reward for a major feat. Though, if summoned with a medium or large blocker, they can give it invincibility, and considering how much damage large blockers deal, that would be pretty damn deadly. As for the primeval, they could stand to buff it's health pool a bit, but it's not like quick games are something worth calling gambit garbage.

1. You were saying no one gives reasons why they dislike it. So I gave my reasons. You dont have to agree, they don't have to be popular, but they are the reasons why I dislike the gamemode. So don't give me this "so let me get this straight" BS as if I'm wrong for having an opinion just because it differs from your own. 2. I know why the small blockers are what they are, but that doesnt mean i don't want a bigger challenge. Gambit should be about who can control the bank best and bank quicker. Thats literally the whole point. If not a different enemy then at least buff the blocker health. 3. I never said it was garbage so why state my reasons arent enough to call it garbage? I even said the concept of the gamemode is solid and something I'd play more of if there were changes. Like i said, i didn't say it was garbage, i said i hated playing it. Big difference.

😂😂😂😂 it's funny because I'm quite good at PvE I just feel that gambit games go on a bit too long. But im happy you've found a new hobby in following me around. Good for you kitten.
