Why does no one like Gambit (Prime or normal)?
Honesty.
I personally really enjoy Gambit Prime. (Sentry main)
On this app, or LFG, I never find groups to play Gambit with. I can make a squad and very rarely will anyone show up within 10 minutes.
So that makes me wonder, why?
Does everyone dislike gambit?
And I don’t believe that because 3/5 games I fill find at least one group of 2 or more.
For sure I’d say 1/5 matches has either a full 4 squad or a 3 squad. So.....what’s going on exactly?

Edited by Swiftlock: 8/6/2020 4:30:34 AMBecause matches are often decided purely by whoever has the better invader. Too many stomps, not enough exciting matches that come down to the wire. And then you have the spawn bug and medals/triumph progress not counting. That's why.

I love Gambit, especially Prime. I find the people who complain the most are the same ones who make stupid decision: invading with motes, challenging invaders with 15 motes, etc.

Invading wins games and xenophage is ridiculous for invading so it’s just not fun, if two competent teams go against eachother its just a back and forth DPS, invader comes and returns all the boss’ health for both teams until someone gets primeval slayer 4 or 5 and can kill the boss while the other team has no portal

Terribly balanced, and honestly, if the game balanced around Gambit, the game would be back to early Year 1 of D2.

People hate gambit for he most part. Heavy ammo breaks invades and it’s inconsistent to get drops unless you have the mods and in that case you have toooo much heavy and it ruins invasions and relies on RNG a bit too much. That’s the big reason I think at least for me it is
