All good thoughts. Why not just respect your players and allow them to decide with option toggles in PVP and pve?
Prefer Cbmm or sbmm? Play solo? Difficulty level? Timer active? Contest active? Revives?

I don't disagree with having choice. I think though anything that would require 'coding' in changes or features will take a while. Juggling around Playlists and MM settings for each is a 'quick fix' for the short term. Plus they're going to need to recover some of the player pool before they make any complex changes.
