Not all of them because then there's no need to ever earn more. People would just rotate them through what ever gear they are currently using. That said I would like to see higher returns on sharding fully upgraded gear.

I don’t know about you but I will want a lot of gear masterworked for example one build for strength and recovery or discipline and intellect etc. you can not get that with just 5 pieces or six. Especially when exotic armor costs 3shards. I will want to do several builds for example an all arc build with different arc mods for shotguns and machine guns or swords. Another one for void. If they give them back I will still like to grind for more armor as opposed to just have one or two and play one way all season. I will grind more if there is more ways to get AS. Why not shower us. Why get more armor if you are going to use just one or two sets per season.
