*Dally enters the bar and waves to you, she seems completely exhausted, but she’s just as happy as the last time she was here!*

“Oh it definitely exists, I was actually brought to this world in a large flying machine designed to traverse the multiverse! As for the armies, technology can create thousands of automatons in a few seconds if optimized properly!”
-
“Perhaps. But I have seen likes of magic as well that can rival such creations, or at least I’ve heard of them.” *as they are talking he takes quite a few books to read. “So what next?”
-
“Well if you want we can try to get you into that lab, but I’m 98% sure you won’t be allowed in. Other than that there might be a few smaller libraries outside the main city, but they definitely won’t have as much as this library.”
-
“I would enjoy seeing your lab, if you would take me there.”
-
“It isn’t mine, I’m just a helper.” *Dally laughs a little before leading you towards the outskirts of the city, directly outside the city limits there’s large laboratory marked Owl Labs, the main entrance is completely sealed.* “Here we are, the lab! Unfortunately I can’t get you inside, I’ve been told to not invite people in.”
-
“Ahh... then how shall I? Could I speak to your boss?”
-
“I’ll see what I can do, but he’s pretty busy as of late.” *Dally gets a nanite phone from her pocket, types in a code, and the door opens. She walks through before it closes again.*
-
*The wizard chuckles a bit as he waits. While he does he goes through his robes to make sure all his wands and arcane scrolls are in place.*
-
*Dally doesn’t come back out, but a man wearing a white lab coat over red nanite armor comes outside.* “Howdy, I’ve been told you want to talk with me?”
-
“Yes, yes I am. I assume you are the leader of this laboratory. That is quite interesting armor you wear.”
-
“Yes, I am the founder and head scientist of this lab.” *My nanite armor shifts around, creating a wave of moving nanites.* “Yeah, it took a long while to make.”
-
“It would appear so. From my experience items take a long time to create and enchant magically, so I’d assume they would take a long time to be built.”
-
“Actually construction is easy, the hard part is programming and designing.”
-
“Interesting. I would know nothing about that. The technology where I come from is rather primitive. But I am a fast learner.”

-
“That is perfectly understandable. I just wished to see how one of your worlds labs operated. Perhaps I could maybe even help you.”
-
“It’s just a lot of trial and error, occasionally we’ll study a strange phenomenon I discover while traversing the multiverse, but overall it’s a lot of simple tests.”
-
Edited by ImaDrizzit: 6/10/2020 7:14:28 PM“So you have traveled quite far as well. Have you gone to any places worth studying.”
-
Edited by Ace Night Owl: 6/10/2020 7:27:56 PM“There are many, many places out in the multiverse worth visiting, like the world that the girl who brought you here comes from. That world has a very limited magic system and only people born with powers can ever use magic that is based on a single predetermined word! It’s an astounding phenomenon!”
-
“I would hate to live in that world. It could make all the power I’ve gained by working for it irrelevant. If you don’t mind me asking what have you been working on here?”
-
“Currently we’re mapping the multiverse and studying different types of magic in other dimensions! There’s also smaller projects to create specialized armors.”
-
“Very interesting. I also seek to study different types of magic throughout the realms I travel too. The universe is a very big place.”
-
“Indeed! The universe is massive, but the multiverse is significantly larger and more diverse. There are worlds where the rules of physics and magic are completely different, it’s amazing to see.”
-
“It is quite amazing. But sadly we probably won’t see it all because of how vast the multiverse we live in is. Nerv the Single Planet i come from had several different ways to cast spells and arcane secrets still unknown by many.”
-
“Yeah, infinite worlds and limited time means no one will ever be able to see it all or know it all. It’s utterly disappointing.”
