I yearn for the Vex Mythoclast
Just logged back into Destiny 1 to behold this glorious, historic, and timeless (no pun intended) gem of an exotic. Please get a revamped version of this gun in Destiny 2 as soon as possible.

5 RepliesNo point, it was a great weapon originally, but once it was earned from raid and people took it into pvp it was neutered beyond all belief. Same goes for any good exotic in this franchise, if it’s good it gets nerfed. Bungie doesn’t want us to have op stuff to grind for anymore, they just want us grinding bounties and buying emotes, sad sad sad days. Hard light just confirms my point, they nerfed it so bad it doesn’t even deserve its exotic class nor does it makes sense with its lore. But hey streamers and pvp crybabies are the majority of playerbase so may as well cater to them and make every weapon other than hand cannons and shotguns underperform and underwhelming. Thank pvp and Bungie’s philosophy for the state of lackluster weapons and gear.

And I want my pocket infinity back. I dont count merciless as the pocket infinity as it needs to be non leathal hits. I want to shoot a fusion in full auto

Proabably not. Nostalgia is good but never lasts. I played D1 a week ago and scratched my itch to shoot all the awesome exotics. But I am ready for new stuff. Good stuff. Not weapons that go straight to collections and are never used. But honestly at this point I think they get pretty desperate make players stick around and buy things

Every exotic will eventually return. Armor and weapons. Maybe with different-ish perks to fit the D2 standards.

Maybe have a rogue vex give it to us via some mission to fight the pyramid gang. Like it becomes self aware and no longer wishes to be part of the collective. Put some sort of whisper like quest to it. Or, have the exo stranger travel through time and give it to us, I dunno. As much as I hate when they bring back D1 weapons, some were fun and nice to use again. Thorn Bad juju Last word Things like riskrunner just end up being a rehash of zhallo supercell. I get that they aren't exactly the same, but basically they are similar ideas. So maybe bring the vex back as a different name and style but similar operation. Could be a nice endgame reward.

I wish they let vex feel like it did after it got the buff to fix it sucking. Best place for that gun
